First tones of "The first season" for me is like a cooled mineral water from glass bottle in the end of long cycling trip at sunny day.

Probably my favorite Frusciante's release ever, along with the other "brother" album. This version of The First Season is even better than the "mastered" one.

Minor and obsessive quip, but it's hard to think of John recording this when he still had shoulder-length hair. This should be around October/November 1999 when this batch was initially cut. I always associate this album with the promo he was doing from around that time.
