So good? I fuckin love Kyuss to the point that this bothers me , one guitar! Woh so awesome man lol ! Like John Garcia could've put a band together maybe a bassist, undersold his own shit , and I guess after Kyuss he somehow decided to stop using his low smooth badass vocals(which we do get to hear here) and somehow has to screech scream everything(as seen on every new song from him). Anyway nothing but respect but with that I give my true thoughts
Same, I think this is my fav version of the song solely be ause of the guitar. Idk if it's just the tune, or if it's a combination of him picking the string louder cause of the crowd but it sounds soooo good Someone needs to someone edit this guitar part on the studio song =)
@@BakedNConfused Yeah, I -just- picked up "The Coyote Who Spoke In Tongues" after finding this version and then finding songs from the album. This is SO much better than the album version. I agree with what's going on with the tone and picking style... it just punches, but held notes carry on with that soft hum resonance. I think the album version is a bit too fast, and the groove of this song gets a bit lost. I'm just rolling along with this one automatically, and the recorded version doesn't hit like that.
One of the first songs I taught myself by ear. Love Kyuss and the influence they have had on my musical taste growing up. Great live session, Johns voice is still has good as it was when I listened to him over 20 years ago.
@@BakedNConfused the (studio) recording available out there is way different than this live performance. While recording one can record several instrument lines alone. hahaha
Alexis castañeda God bless John Garcia but he’s getting a little too old and fat now adays. I wish he was still young and sexy I’d fuck the shit outta young JG
I'm standing alone on the cliffs of the world No one ever tends to me Sitting alone, covered in rays Some things are so my mind can breath Waiting is hard, fucking takes so long Draped in sun, hands in sand Earth acid cleanses me, cleanses me clean But the world it never comes It never comes It never comes It never comes I lay on my side in the edge of the room She never expects anything from me When all the days, the days of the year I know I miss that part of me Waiting is hard, fucking takes so long Draped in sun, hands in sand Earth acid cleanses me, cleanses me clean But the world it never comes It never comes It never comes It never comes It never comes It never comes
I don't want to do a relative tuning, so does anyone know if this is just good old C like the album version? I assume, but I thought the album version was a guitar and a bass. This seems to split the difference somehow to fill it out for just one guitar. Badass!
