In this video filmed at NLP Academy Q and A session with John Grinder, John talks about qualitative and quantitative research methods and how NLP favours qualitative research with calibration being a key ingredient in creating personalised interventions in client work.
John provides a critique of the current structure of evidenced based medicine in saying it affirms the mind body split which he attributes to many of the problems clients are seeking to resolve when they seek coaching.
John talks about how calibration of unconscious signals was an implicit feature in the work he and Bandler undertook with clients, and how that developed in New Code NLP as an explicit application particularly in health and healing, provding the pathway for John's latest work Emergent New Code NLP.
John explains about how the immune system is great an example of how the mind and body adapts and responds to such complexities of invading pathogens and generalises the response. John draws a parallel of other life issues where through the massive amount of data stored in what he refers to as ‘The Archives’ can be accessed through 'Emergent New Code NLP' patterning for people to leverage their human assets acquired through a life time of direct and indirect learning
