I thought John John won by a slim margin. Kelly came back with some good ride at the end, but I didn't think it was enough. You know what? That happen to kelly when he surffed against Tommy Curren. I guest when you surf against a champion you got to bring your best and hope he has his worst. Cause the judges probably wouldn't give it to you. It's the same with boxing. The challenger most of the time needs to practically have a knock down or have a TKO on the champion to win the fight.

The same 9.70 for slater? Nah. John's wave was insane. At the same time that 7 John got in the beginning... Weird.
