Wow, such a beautiful film showcasing a surfer who has no equal in raw talent. Awesome cinematography, love the shots especially of Portugal (my home). Shows JJF at the height of his powers. Breathtaking! Hope he has a chance to show this type of surfing again on the competitive stage.

These close up shots of the CT event put into perspective how heavy some of these sections are. It's was more fun to watch than typical WSL coverage, keep doing it!!! Also, it would be sick to see some film like this with Medina and Italo boostin in it as well.

Gorgeous work. At the very least you should submit something like this to a couple film festivals. But maybe you're wasting your time at a film fest and it's better just to share it the way you're doing. I've heard about this guy off and on for years. But I've never really seen him surf or subscribed to his channel. Of course I've done both of those now. And I have to admit I always wondered why he wasn't simply John Florence, but goes by the name John John Florence. And now after watching him surf, maybe people use two first names for him because someone with that level of skill is beyond just one first name. I hope that's not insulting, but it's one of those weird thoughts that runs through my head from time to time when I'm faced with something different.
