John Leach, Potter 

I love to see John on youtube. I owe Bernard, David and John a big thank you for inspiring me to be a potter for 40 years. My lifelong exploration started by reading a potters book in 1972 and now I make pots on the coast of Nova Scotia. Thanks to the Leach tradition.

This is what you want a potter to look and sound like! Sadly, this lovely man passed away in 2021, leaving behind a remarkable body of work. Several examples in the V&A.

Enjoyed that. What a lovely man. He impressed me greatly when I attended a workshop given by him in Kilkenny, Ireland many years ago. Still have the pots. Is John Leach related to Simon Leach? I believe Simon has mentioned he was from Cornwall as well so I'm assuming there must be a family connection. Brothers maybe?

Is this Simon Leach's father??? If so, why did he not mention him as a potter?
