Ordinary people is a fantastic tune. Jazz Ellington KILLED it on the voice and John Legend is a wee bit of a Legend eh?! We just couldn't wait to go up to the studio and put our own wee spin on it. The support on our last wee video (Beyonce 1+1) was so encouraging, thank you so much everyone! Sorry about the hyena that appears at the end.... That was soulful and probably all improvised bass playing. Dude is killin it, palm muting while playing at the same time to not outplay the singer, since ya know it's just the two of them. He shows restraint while still playing groovy lines outlining the changes on his fretless bass. Soulful ideas between her phrases, tasteful riffs outlining the chords, sweet harmonics towards the end, and ending with a 10th... Well played, Wayne Matthews, well played.

I normally hate reality TV shows with a passion, but found myself unwillingly watching the voice, which is where I first saw you singing RIP, I was just blown away by your style of singing, completely different and original, also having never heard the original version I searched and listened to both the Rita Ora and Drake versions... yours is far superior.... lets hope you get some sort of recognition you deserve through the TV show....

That's my favorite song of all times and my favorite part is when it says "...maybe youuuuu and IIIIIIIIIII" the way you go up omg!! it's just amazing, goosebumps all over. Amazing voice and I love how you play with it.
