John Leguizamo is bringing audiences some of the lessons that didn't make it to our history books, going back centuries to highlight the influences of Latinos that still reverberate today. It's part of the PBS series, ‘American Historia,’ directed Ben DeJesus.

Gracias John, I am so excited to watch your show with my familia. You have always been an inspiration to me and have watched you grow to be an amazing person. We were brought up by a southern Baptist grand father. My dad being the eldest of 17 had eight of us and I in the middle was given a lot of responsibility at a very young age. The Latino life has been a challenge but our perseverance was to push through what ever we faced to move forward. The stories I could tell. Lol. Some not so funny. Ty
