Loved this vlog! I had forgotten how long ago the John Lennon Yoko Ono bed In had happened. So cool to see how the room looked and is now updated. The entire hotel was beautiful. I also enjoyed seeing the "underground" city. Very nice city. Thank you for this wonderful trip Jordan! I appreciate you freezing yourself to show us around and now back to CA to thaw out!

That was nice of the management allowing the filming. The hotel did such a great job on the room. I like the way they display the facts, blended the history and interactive exhibits into the rooms decor. The underground city was amazing. I bet that would be fun to explore. The fountain was beautiful!

wow!!!!you go everywhere......being a lennon fan was super interested in this one.....bought his wedding album when it came out in 1970...the album was a box set, came with poster and a ton of pictures of the " bed in"...and a piece of cardboard cake...lol....the record was of yoko singing..(ugh!)...so you had to be a big fan to collect it.....I remember Al Capp was ignorant toward yoko!.....great post!

Oh my gosh this video of the hotel is soooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing, I have never seen so much amazing back in time plus modernized memorabilia and they work well together to give it's identical feeling and view of John and Yoko being there wow how groovy thank you Jordan for this amazing video, God bless

Been a fan of John Lennon since May 63 an he is still one of my biggest inspirations. I am still campaigning for ✌an change. Without a dream, people perish. Thanks for the cool video. You are lucky indeed. In my opinion, we need more people like John who aren't afraid to take a stand for what is right. Bet it cost a pretty penny to stay there

Glad to know Lennon enjoyed reading Lewis Carroll and Edgar Allan Poe. The Fairmont is to be commended for preserving the feel of the past but using technology to create a virtual environment.

Hubby and I stayed at that hotel a few years ago and asked if we could see the room but someone was staying in it :( took a zillion pics from outside the door and in front of the mural in the lobby (not sure if it's still there) a bit disappointed but was still amazing just knowing we at least stood in the same lobby and hallway .. good times :) I had heard that in addition to being held up for so long that the Royal York here in Toronto wanted nothing to do with any 'bed in' so they moved it to Montreal .. lucky them! Montreal is a beautiful city, so glad you had a great time :)

Talk about a sweet suite!!! Great vlog! So amazed you got to tour the room, kudos to the management of the hotel. We need an underground city in my area (DFW) today. It's only 27 degrees!!! Bummer about the cokehead in the stairwell. Glad you had a good time otherwise

I love everything related to the Beatles. I did the Beatles tour in Liverpool UK last year, pretty interesting too. So exciting that you get to film the inside + the inside architecture of that hotel is mesmerizing - thank you very much Jordan. Again a great vlog, I'm speachless

That was amazing ! It must have been totally surreal for you to have actually been in that room where such an iconic piece of pop culture history took place. Wonderful in how the hotel understands , embraces and preserves as much as possible of that history. It was truly a gift from the hotel that they allowed you in to share it with us.

I remember this. I was an early teen but I was a big fan of John Lennon. I would love to stay there. How wonderful this vlog is. You do an amazing job Jordan. I'm currently working on a big collage video (using over 30 sources) about the John & Yoko Bed-In in honour of the 52nd anniversary this week and was hoping I could get your permission to use some footage from your spectacular tour of the suite! Such a piece of history 🍎✌I had just recently watch a hollywood celebrity grave yard video also showed where john Lennon's ashes was also buried some kind of memorial actual tombstone Not the imagine memorial spot John's ashes was buried in more than one actual spot in NYC what was odd about Yoko her only daughter went missing nothing much was ever said about her little girl

What an incredible vlog!!! Thank you so much for this one. Since I was a teenager one of the radio stations in Chicago does a Breakfast with the Beatles every Sunday morning. You just took this Sunday's Beatles morning to the extreme! I honestly believe its your personality and genuine enthusiasm for what you do that comes through when you are asking people if you might be able to see something. They get that vibe from you, know you are the real deal, and allow you into most places that the rest of us couldn't get in to asking the same question. Keep up the great job and thanks for everything that you continually do and research!

I’m so glad that you had a chance to see this for yourself! I loved all of the time period pieces that are modernized. That was so kind of the hotel, but you are always so gracious and are sure to give a shout out. How cool that it happens to be the 50th anniversary. To me, that made it extra special. -31 in Manitoba this morning. Good time to watch a great vlog like this.

This was Fantastic, Jordan! Where do I start? I was a part of the 60’s counterculture and from the northeast. I remember the bed in like it were yesterday. Not too long before Woodstock. I can tell you so much. I was born in the same town as Ginsburg. His father taught in one of our HSs. The hotel did a WONDERFUL job! They added so many magical touches. Funny, as much as I am a Beatle freak, and know about John, I never knew his two favorite books were the same as mine. This was a special vlog for me and you did an outstanding job. Thank you! That terrible horrible "Cannabis" 😲 makes people too peaceful and we can't have that! Yep, John n Yoko were a threat to the establishment for believing in peace n love over war. I tell you that bus boy was one lucky lad and the whiney guests didn't even care that they were witnessing history in the making but the hotel owners new better!! Lol The suite renovation is just fantastic!! Having kept the original bed wouldn't have gone over well, ewwww. But the futon is a nice touch in keeping with the aesthetic appeal of John n Yoko. And keeping a rotary phone and the reel to reel tapes both with authentic tape recordings guests can listen too is flippin' brilliant!!! 😁 Fantsic vlog Jordan!! I hope your flight home was a pleasant one!

That was great and it really brought back memories. I remember it like it happened yesterday. I can still see them getting off the plane when they came to the USA for the first time.
