Yeah maybe Pete, Im thinking now that this album is less average than I had previously thought. Im loving it and not really any bad tracks on it and some very good ones that could have fitted well onto Imagine or Walls & bridges. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks from this comment. I dont really ant to encourage another really expensive blow out box like this for Walls & Bridges but if they do as well with the remix and all the extra music it'll be brilliant. Hope we dont have to wait too long for it though.

What a wonderful gift from Mrs Beatley Tone, you can really tell your excitement and amazement at receiving this.wonderful beautiful surprise gift. The unboxing was amazing and I got really excited too as you revealed each box within a box. It is truly a work of art and I hope you managed to get it all back in the cube okay? I did get the double CD version on Friday and I was totally blown away by the quality of John's voice and the clarity of all the instruments on each track. This has been one of the best remixes so far in the Beatles and solo Beatles collections. I hope this standard continues in future releases. I do love the outtakes too and I always love the progression from start to finish of the music. Only one thing is I can't get the hidden tracks to play either on my Blu-ray player or CD player. So good job I have got the Un Cut CD which includes I Am The Greatest which I really like and have had two versions on a 12 inch single for years but been unable to play it. Thank you once again for a marvellous unboxing the boxing, well I know it is the cube but I wanted to say it that way as it seemed funny at the time 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Yes Maurice a really wonderful gift that I wasnt expecting to get and one that blew me away. Glad you enjoyed the unboxing video (took me ages to film lol) and yes I have worked out how it all fits back together although I havent decided yet which bits to keep in the cube and which bits to display elsewhere. Glad you are enjoying your 2 CD version and agree that the remix is outstanding and one of the best we've ever had. I have heard other people who have done reviews that the hidden tracks only reveal themselves on certain brands of CD players (Sony being one of them that successfully shows them) . I couldnt see them in my Naim CD player but I had no problem with the Blu-Rays in my Panasonic BR player. I can see this is going to be frustrating for you and others that dont have the blu-rays. I will try and speak to someone and find out of there is a workaround

Yes having the vinyl is a real bonus too, although I would have liked them to issue a vinyl only box so everyone who likes vinyl could get the whole thing on records. Maybe that will happen later. However I’m in California and it’s coming this Tuesday. I also went to my local record store and got the 2LP, 2CD unit from them on July 12th. I also listened to this entirely on Apple Music. What an incredible focus the Lennon camp are with these releases. I love how you experience the evolution of each track. It’s like a story unfolding and you are along the journey to experience it. She completely knocked me for six by gifting me the Super Deluxe cube set. Such an amazing gift from such and amazing woman.
Odd why Yoko is featured on the bonus artwork considering it's Lennon who is walking away from her on the cover and he was with May at this stage. I wonder if the Walls and Bridges box will have pictures of May? I like Yoko but not sure about the revisionism.
Actually he didnt leave the Dakota until after Mind Games was released. You can hear her in the control room on all the evolution mixes. They were on the verge of temporarily breaking up but the actual break was after the album was completed
An amazing gift - I feel very lucky. Ive only actually seen 1 person (as not a commercial company channel) receive this cube from the estate - Andrew Dixon and he deserves it in my opinion for the work he does on his channel
I did check out the mind games outtake which sounds really good and I love the evolution documentary on meet city that’s what I checked out yesterday and I haven’t heard much from the mind games box set but I will definitely check that out.
Finally opted for the 2 disc version on cd. The album cd itself has 90 tracks from track 13 to 90 there all silent and 24 seconds long LOL. This i found out ripping the album to my pc for the car.
Yeah i mentioned this weird thing in my review vid of the 6 cd box set. Not sure why this is maybe its one of these games that sean was talkibg about that will unravel in time but i have now idea how

I've not really worked out the logistics of where or how Im going to keep the cube but will work it out over the next few days. I suspect it will go in our music room where most of our records and CDs are but whether I keep the vinyl in the cube is what I need to decide as I kind of want it own display with my other records. Meaning carrying it in mate lol wow so cool and that is just the box :). And you are starting to open it and the way it does fold down and drop. I thought I was getting ready for a Jams Bond mission lol right !!!!! O WOW the hologram is spectacular. I sure have seen a lot of boxes set and solo Beatles box sets too. But this sure is the ultimate box set wow it does have everything in it . I thought this was a $$$ one to get. But yes, it is lol but it sure is worth it wow!!!! Just incredible!!!! So now we won't see you for a week now lol!!! God thing you are retired you need a lot of time to get through it all lol. This was just great now after all of that you need a nap :). Couldnt believe it Brad - the postman needed to deliver it on a trolly it was that heavy ! 18 kg ! An amazing gift from my wife. Really happy to get all the box set on vinyl - this is the thing I am most happy about. Shame they didnt do a vinyl only box without all the bits and pieces as I think that would have been a big seller. Thanks for watching mate. I must admit I hadn't picked up of the similarity between the label and the Vertigo swirl but I've just checked this against on of my Thin Lizzy albums who were on Vertigo, and although the label at 19:41 is very similar to the Vertigo label, it's not quite the same, so I'm guessing that the association is just coincidental .

I listened to the remix yesterday. I like the original mix better. John Lennon produced the original album himself, and he did a very good job. I don`t know who has remixed this edition, but i think they missed their mark compared to Johns own mix which i think is excellent. Exciting box set though. I hope you are happy with it:)
Blimey, you're the first person to say that and sorry I disagree - I think the remix is astonishing but as ive said before, we all hear things differently on different equipment so there's no right or wrong answers. Glad you are enjoying the rest of box set though
@@beatleytonesbeatleschannel I like Johns original mixes better.. Mind Games was a very well produced album. He hat gotten rid of Phil Spector and his wall of sound. Not that getting rid of Spector mattered. John made sure that Spector never went overboard.
Putting aside your giddy childlike antics.....do you REALLY believe that Lennon would have condoned this extravagant, materialistic "offering"......even Ono has "distanced" herself from this particularly disturbing item from his estate......sad. 🖤♠
Putting aside your attempts to suck the joy out for reasons best known to yourself, how have you missed the point so badly? You wonder whether Lennon would approve, well not really wonder, you have made it clear by your capitalisation that you believe he would not, without REALLY knowing one way or the other. An attempt to be clever that falls completely flat and does the complete opposite. You also ignore the fact that his work has been remixed in several ways and been re-released. Are you not concerned that he might disapprove of that too? No, of course you're not, because your sole purpose here is to troll. You also disregard the fact that the beneficiaries of the Lennon estate have more money than they could spend in a thousand lifetimes , do you REALLY think they really need to release this cube to make money? Think hard ! If this was a materialistic offering, which of course it is not, and If it was conceived to make money, they would have made more than 1100 of them, made them smaller and cheaper (to sell more, thus making more money) I get it that this item is for collectors only and not everyone will like it or want it, you therefore need not worry about it (or who approves of it) as it doesn't concern you. As long as those that have bought it are happy with it, that's what matters, the rest is just hot air and waffle.
