John Lennon's 1965 Phantom Rolls-Royce is currently owned and cared for by The Royal British Columbia Museum. The museum periodically displays the car for public viewing.
After having purchased the car in 1985 and displaying it at the 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication in Vancouver, BC, the car was then donated to the Province of British Columbia by Mr. Jim Pattison, a Canadian business magnate, investor and philanthropist. The Royal British Columbia is the custodian to maintain and protect the integrity of the aging treasure.
For the month of February, 2020, the museum displayed the car in their entrance lobby. Knowing that there are many fans and enthusiasts who are unable to travel to Victoria when the car is displayed, I took this short video to share with those unable to enjoy visiting the car themselves.
The song 'Free As A Bird' (Demo), composed and written by John Lennon in 1977, was combined into the audio track and used with respect for John and for the song's copyright holders. In no way do I own, nor imply ownership, of the song in whole or in part.
