youre not gonna find a british made handwelted shoe for anything beneath bespoke i think. the labour would be very expensive. vass may do it but ive seen them cut corners on for example the heel stack being in paper rather than leather...

I’d try Laszlo Vass or Heinrich Dinkelacker from Budapest: not that elegant, half of the price, but handcrafted.
