I'm in the USA, but I follow British politics quite closely. When I heard years ago that he and Edwina had an affair, I thought that really didn't seem like the type of thing he would do! Shows you never can tell. He islucky that Norma didn't leave him!! Margaret Thatcher was notoriously bad about having women in her cabinet. I don't think she ever had a female Secretary of State in all the years she was PM. A few female ministers of state, like Edwina and Lynda Chalker. Give Theresa May credit for the fact she has several women on the front bench.

This must be 15/16th December 1988 because of the Epping Forest by-election at the end.

Lets hope for both their sakes that the lights in the bedroom were firmly switched off.
