Still here in 2022. John made this song his own with his beautiful vocal. The whole of this live concert is the best I've ever seen. Such a talented performer with bucket loads of charisma . It's December 15, 2021, Kolkata, India, 5:48 a.m. It's been almost 6 years since this song introduced me to John Mayer's music and my whole career on guitar studies changed once and for all. Tired after doing my engineering assignments for the entire night I decided to take a break and suddenly this song popped up in my head and as I came to check it out for almost the 1000th time, the nostalgia hit me like a running truck. The tears I shed through this man's music, the healing this man caused me incomparable to nothing. I hope every single person who's watching this video may find mental satisfaction and peace in their life. Hang in there.

Mayer looks like he's having a blast during this song, his vocals and playing are amazing, backed by not only two great instrumentalists but singers as well. Imagine making a cover of a song more popular than the original, and completely worth it by the way. In my opinion, this song is about a boy who broke up with a girl who loved him deeply - for no reason but just because he didn’t love her back, not as much as she loved him. So he feels free when he leaves her, freeing himself from the guilt of never being able to love her back the way she always deserved to be loved.
