I can relate to this as I lost my 2 husband who was my sole mate back on May 2 2018 and I am still trying to mend the 💔 it left in me. We met and started dating on September 29th of 06 and was married on February 16th of 07 we celebrated our last 2 wedding anniversaries in the hospital this year would have been our 13th. I haven't heard this song in what seems like forever. My husband and I got married on September 16, 1990 when I was 18 and he was a 19 Marine about to be deployed to Saudi Arabia for Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Honestly, I think most people we knew thought we were too young, but we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary this September. Has it always been easy? No, of course not but it's been worth it, without a doubt. He is no longer in the Marine Corps, now he works for a company that does a lot of work for the Department of Defense. He works so hard and never complains. This song is pretty spot on to my feelings for him, I love and appreciate him so much. Your channel is great, I always enjoy watching your videos. I love and appreciate everything my man does for me. Ive had a really bad day today. He called and was like babe are you ok? I said no. He said I'm on my way. He dropped everything and is coming over to take care of me. Nobody has ever done that. He waited 30yrs cause he waa afraid id say no. Now we're getting married and 5 daughters between us. He is a single dad and he is such a wonderful dad. I'm a single mom but he takes care of all of us. I'm so appreciative. He's amazing and all I could ask. I'm so blessed. At my age ( just turned 47 last Friday) you dont expect for someone to come into your life and make you so happy. He has changed my life for the better. I'm so thankful.

A couple of hours after we went to bed he was asleep but I kept squirming around because I was uncomfortable and had to go to the bathroom on the other side of the house. Out of nowhere he asked me what was wrong and scared me half to death because I didn’t realize he was still awake. I didn’t want to say at first because I was embarrassed I had woken him up but I finally told him. This man got up out of bed, took me by the hand, and walked with me to the other side of the house so I didn’t have to go alone. He stood outside the bathroom and then held my hand again as we walked back and went back to bed. I don’t know of anyone else in the world who would have done that for me. I love how my husband loves and takes care of me. He is an Army veteran, a paratrooper, so he can be rough around the edges and very blunt, but for me he's a safe place to land. I found out at a prenatal appointment that I had miscarried. There was no heart beat. I called him from the Dr office parking lot, and I could hardly speak to say the words. I finally told him and then all I could say was I'm sorry. All he said was, "You didn't do this. This is not your fault. I love you. Come home." And when I got home he was at the door before I was and he jug hugged me.

For me, in the words of another country artist (Bryan White), It’s the Little Things. If he goes to the store and sees my fave sweet treat or something else he thinks I’ll enjoy, he picks it up just because he knows I’ll like it. He also cooks quite frequently... He shows me every day in a thousand little ways. Right now, he knows I’m paranoid about staying healthy, especially since I have an “essential” job, so he gets my gas and braves the stores to minimize my contact to the outside world.
My 25th anniversary was April 1. I love the fact that I was 19 and he was 23 when we got together and he would go out with his friends and come home well before midnight because he missed me. Or that he’ll just look at me and tell me that I’m beautiful out of the blue.

I know this was done last year but I have to say about my wife. This coming fall will be 25 years. We will have both kids gratuating this year (1 from college and 1 from HS), we're changing how we're doing our jobs, starting to look at moving and downsizing and a host of other changes. After so many ups and downs I can't imagine making it through it all with anyone else.....
