you're not understanding the fact that they rightly still want there to be actual podcast incentive. it's so basic it's blinding. so sick of seeing this comment, from peeps who don't get that being a genuine podcast and not youtube-centralized is the goal.
@VioletEmerald
@VioletEmerald 9 месяцев назад
@DanielBoonelight well they don't care because they don't consume it as a podcast. Or all their podcasts they do consume are really long form and tied to RU-vid. Etc. It's a valid request from the consumer perspective that if it was on RU-vid we'd click and it's too much effort maybe to go to the actual podcast area especially if for us podcasts are audio only things and this is so visual
@DanielBoonelight
@DanielBoonelight 9 месяцев назад
@@VioletEmerald but, *again* , that only sees it from the single, myopic youtube-consumer perspective and not *their* perspective. did you even think that they may be payed better from podcast model? that the salaries involved depend on the podcast model thriving? regardless of their reasons, they obviously exist. conan is a HUGE brand and cooperative. they aren't just throwing out content not having boards think about every damn aspect of their model. can you for once think, 'let me try to see why they might want what they're doing, and actually give established bodies credit for their own decisions." this isn't rocket science. it's like, two chess moves of thinking. not one, like some second grader.
@VioletEmerald
@VioletEmerald 9 месяцев назад
@DanielBoonelight of course I thought about how they are choosing strategically and hoping to make more money this other way. I'm not sure it's working for them if so many consumers are lazy these days and won't go off their preferred platform even if it's RU-vid though

Hey Conan - it's okay for you to actually say "I love YOU" to John; you don't have to say "I love what you're doing", "I love where you are in life". Say "I love you", because you clearly do.
