Former Chelsea and Nigeria midfielder Jon Obi Mikel lifts the lid on a glorious decade at Stamford Bridge, in which he won all of the game's major domestic prizes and played under a raft of managers, from Mourinho to Di Matteo. Jon Obi does not hold back with some brilliant tales from the Chelsea dressing room, including the time Mourinho made Mo Salah cry and why nobody could stand Rafa Benitez!

One of the best football interviews I have watched in a long time. It was a very honest conversation and what Mikel said about so many Africans becoming Chelsea fans because of him is the truth. Most of my friends who became serious Chelsea fans became fans because of John Obi Mikel. The hosts did a very nice job, asking difficult questions while making your guest feel at home. You sacrifice your place in Chelsea because of the National call. That was something few people can do. No wonder God blesses you so richly at Chelsea. You can never be forgotten in Chelsea and Nigerian football history. It pained me that you did not win African best that year. You were indeed robbed. God knows best! We love you, Mikel! Great interview. Please bring him back soon.

Good to see this dude again...havent kept up with his life since long ago..brings back alot of memories as a chelsea fun..its funny that John Obi Mikel and Messi once played in one heated youth world cup and even though Messi won i think in penalties, that's when the World learned who is Mikel a because he was like the Man of the tournament, and from there the rest is history...glad to see him still going strong and always smiling..

My coach always said when a player gets an excessive amount of injuires it's mainly due to them not looking after themsleves or training well. It doesnt suprise me when it comes to Eden Hazard. If you don't train hard enough, the body eventually wears out. He's paying the price at Madrid for not looking after himself.

Nope. Give young players playing time. That's the lesson. You give them time without playing time it's useless. And those young player can't start at chelsea team back then, at highest level you need reliable players, managers gonna be hard to start those younster when their job on the line.
