Head & shoulders above every other left-back at the time then how come Evra got into a few more TeamOfTheYear's when they were both playing in the PL, Evra won way more PL's also in this period and he had the better ChampionsLeague final out of the 2 left-backs in 2008. Not to mention a way better career in & obviously outside of England. I don't think Cashley would've been anywhere near having 10 failed PL races in a row from 2004/05 to 2013/14 always playing for strong challengers if he was as good as some fools make out and if it wasn't for the PL giving Chelski 2009/10 because they didn't want the same champion more than 3 times in a row (hence Chelsea getting 2 imperative wins vs ManUtd which if VAR was in play would've been ManUtd wins and another title at a canter for ManUtd, not to mention Chelsea still lost that year but for StevenGerrard's match fixing penultimate game because it also happened to be the first year ManUtd could overtake Liverpool on overall league title's hence Gerrard's deliberate backpass to Drogba at 0-0) he would've gone 10 straight seasons without winning it for Arsenal & Chelsea.
