I've been watching too much Technical Difficulties, because I just had "Nicholas Cage's knickerless cage" and "Al Pachino's Owl Casino El Camino" run through my head while watching this, and it blended beautifully.
I’d bet good money that plenty of people knew all about that, including John and his writers and that this was originally meant as a joke for TV-industry insiders. They knew exactly what they were doing, the little scamps!
I mean most people who have seen the show know, I've seen fragments sporadically and I've turned off the videos every time because of how horrible she is to her guests and employees.
Since John is so good at these, I thought I could write him a joke. Scenario, a Politican/Subject of the topic is only good at three things, one of which is the combination of the other two. Punchline, Instead of describing "X" that describes the entire existance of Canadian Z List Actor Hayden Christensen, who's 3 roles are A Whiny Teenager (Sam from Life as a House), someone doing way too much crime at work (Stephen from Shattered Glass) and a combination of the two (Darth Vader).

These jokes are sour like a three year old milk. I like John, but it`s not hitting any funny nerve in my body, really. These jokes on actors can be a little bit more creative.
