I’m telling ya. I hope he got insurance. Cause he’s liable haha. I think I need to add insane drumming as a clause. Maybe it comes under accidental damage or natural phenomenon 😂
Let's give it up for the drummer that of course is skilled as a mutha but refrained from using an overabundance of drum fills and cymbal crashes here. He stayed in the pocket and simply complimented the band as great drummers do. Outstanding!
Gabe's playing has so much feel because of how crisp his note spacing is. He gives the song room to breathe. He doesn't overlap his notes (for example: When he hits a crash he lets it ringgg before he continues). He does a lot less than were used to hearing drummers doing. But his timing is impeccable. Listen to how little notes he plays on the hats in general. Drummers take note and don't let this go over your head 📝 LESS IS MORE!
@@audwinscott aye I understand it’s just an expression and you showing respect but you don’t have to downplay your own efforts to uplift someone. I believe you too can reach this level. It’s all about how much time you put in. You can do it too💯
I attend a large Christian church which is made up of a 99.99999% white congregation. I pray all the time for a band like this. This band just rocks. It pulls out all the stops. This band has set the standard.
The homie Joe on keys, Joe is definitely one of the most fun and inspiring musicians u can share ya gift with! Baltimore musicians as a whole are just uniquely DOPE!!
Gabe!! YOU KILLED THIS SEGMENT. Smh!!! When you're a true JOHN P KEE BAND fan and you know his set list backwards and forth. I love hearing different musicians play for him. They all have different styles and their own uniqueness that they bring to the setlist.. 🙏🤷🏾♂️. Legendary!
John P. Key thank you so much for your music, I got filled with the Holy Ghost in the 1990s in the Marine Corp on UST Cayuga ship on deployment in the middle of the Ocean, I played this song so many times.
Yesssir old school churchin!!! Drummer is A1 as always. John P Kee has always had his band & voices tight and on lock from day one. 🔒 🤗 seeing them in person yrs ago was a blessing and an inspiration... Never Shall Forget 🙌🙌
Knew service was going to be off the hook. But I knew it was going to be a sweat box due to limited space...like a petri-dish for COVID 19...be careful church folks!
Ladell is still my favorite drummer!! I still pay attention to him! Every time Charlie Wilson is live, I am looking how Ladell is playing. He still is a beast.
@@bassplayer883 CJ is a close second. He can do the most of all the drummers but it can be distracting from the music sometimes I find. It almost doesn't matter what song he's playing sometimes while guys like Gabe and Devon tailor their playing more to the details of the song.
Awesomeness at its finest! The whole band! Sound was clean and crisp. Drummer is just badass! Organist had me head bopping with him and his magic fingers (and I just had surgery on my neck)😂! Bassist was simply cool wit’it. Overall, excellent job guys!
Let me tell you the story I’ve been a big of this bass player @tonythechicago and last year he came in my country ( Africa , Rwanda , kigali ) I’ve never dreamed of meeting this man and I was walking in the backstage and I saw him walking I hugged him also cried. That was my best moment the whole last year I thank God it happened ❤️🎸🎸🎸🎸
