Hi! This is my cover of "Temple Of Circadia" by the amazing John Petrucci.
It was from the beginning in my "wishlist" cause it's played on a seven string (and because it's one of my favorite song in the album). This song in partular have very intricate parts: sweeps, alternate picking and very specific rhythm patterns, so is very hard to play in my opinion.

@@MsDavo123 Hi! I just play Dream Theater's stuff since i was 17 so i studied a lot of Alternate Picking, one of the best books is Rock Discipline by John Petrucci in my opinion. For the music in general i just listen the piece over and over in order to remember every part without any problem and then i learn the song piece by piece like a puzzle, hope it makes sense cheers!

An amazing cover but I am going to give one critique(don't worry, it's nothing to do with your playing). There were just a few section where the video is *slightly* off from the audio. I know RU-vid can sometimes be a boob and unsync audio and video upon upload though. Other than that, keep up the great work my dude. This album blew me away and I was really happy to hear some older Dream Theater vibes laced throughout. Cheers!

@@SteYellowcard Thanks. Will try those, but first I have to get back to the basics to play this. LOL. I can't do sweep picking to save my life so that parts out for me right now. Will have to practice the technical stuff and build up speed/ clarity/ clean playing before trying this song. I did try a Cali Lead Amp and Cab on the Line 6 Helix and got close to the sound (based on Mesa) but need to tweak it around a bit.
