John, thanks so very much for blowing my mind, in the best possible way, and sending me to a galaxy that scientists haven't even discovered yet. You and your band mates are phenomenal ✨️ 🙌 ❤️ ❤❤❤❤
My girlfriend's dad is really into John Petrucci, so we went to go see him in Orlando on his tour. I had no idea what to expect because he told me there was going to be no singing (which I thought was going to be a little weird). Boy was I fucking wrong, this was the best concert I have ever been to. His music tells a story without any words. I would love to see more videos like this to see his interpretation of his music. Fucking epic. I am a lifetime fan after that concert!
You are in for a treat, my friend! Check out all the past albums by John Petrucci, Liquid Tension Experiment and Dream Theater (if you haven't done so already). Have fun!
John is such an incredibly well rounded and clearly well musicically educated and talented. He brings the insane shred speed with the classical education to not put a single note out of place. Absolute legend.
FINALLY!!!!!!!! PORTNOY IS BACK!!!!!!! Truly a breath of fresh air - here I thought this sound would be long gone with Portnoy out of the works...so glad I am hearing it again.
.this song is John's masterpiece....its like for the love of god of steve vai....I would listen only one song for every great guitarist.....and for john petrucci i would listen only to this song.
I'm only listening to John Petrucci for the 2nd day. Words can't even describe how high this music is taking me!!!❤❤❤. I'm as big of a Satriani fan as there is. I believe that Mr Petrucci is even more phenomenal, if that's actually possible. I've run out of adjectives to describe how this remarkable music is making me feel 🎶 😂!!!!!!!
Before Petrucci I used to listen to Joe Satriani back in the 80's. Then I discovered Dream Theater in 1993. I was blown away beyond words can describe. Then I got to see Joe Satriani and John Petrucci on their G3 tour. I'm so glad these talented musicians defy mainstream with REAL music.
Ok this was just awesome. The references to JP signature guitar finishes on the map in particular really got me. My favourite part however, was the guitar duel with Devin Townsend
There is just something that clicks when John and Mike (P) play together. La Rue on bass stands out and cuts through very nicely. And John, the master of shred is on his game!
"Here is the man whose music knows no fear, no boundaries... only heights, and more heights, and more heights..................", and so John Petrucci showed us all, who's the real master of technique and clarity on the electric axe! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Petrucci's latest compositions are my favorites. That's what I was hoping for actually. I understand that with a band like Dream Theater, it sometimes gives him less time to work on it. But he finally did it, and it's awesome! Thank you Mr. Petrucci!

Was my Favorite Album of 2020 and 2021and 2022. I Went on many 40miles+ Bike Treks and this was my Number one inspirational Album to listen to. I dont know how many times when I was on a long climb(to many to count) when I needed something extra that these guitar riffs got me to the top. Greatness!
John is a true musical craftsman and gives his own textures and style. Even to the tributes he does like in the Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and Metallica albums he has played entirely but without completely playing identical to the original but with his own guitar signature, that is true excellence!
Il existe une multitude de "branleurs de manches" certains excellents, j'en conviens, mais savoir mettre toute son immense technique au profit d'une cohérence mélodique est chose rare. Nous sommes ici dans l'exception. Merci john🤘🎶
Once I started this song, I couldn't stop. I had to listen to the entire thing and it is a smoking display of hard rock, metal etc. Killer guitar sounds, the leads are hotter than hell!
An awsome video cant wait for John to make a sequel. We need more guitarist like john to come to Adelaide need atleast four top head liner bands to come.eg:john pettruci, joe satriani, malmsteen and maybe even Steve vai.METAL.
Definitely have to listen to it a few more times. But currently my favourite part is the break - when he climbes the mountain in the snow - and of course the epic solo that follows 🤘
Well done, John! A very theatrical comp, with many melodic, and polyhedron melodys, and rhythms. You are the master of, whatever the fick you do. You go, John!
This video is amazing. It is a perfect metaphoric interpretation of the life of a musician. He starts his journey with the support of maybe just one ally, he crosses infinite lands to find his purpose and reach his goal, he faces infinite obstacles and gets close to defeat...but right before that he rises up like a Phoenix and finds the strength within himself, through his Art, to overcome the hardest troubles and enemies. Thank you Maestro John for showing us the way!
It is the monomyth, the hero's journey. The reborn, through the state of being swallowed by the abyss, it's archetypal the inner death and rebirth, constantly evolving toward transcendence, a higher state of conscioussness and vertue
Petrucci has always been very open about his humble beginnings as a guitarist. I love the Loudwire video in which he's playing his favorite riffs, most of them are actually simple riffs he learned to play by himself when he started.
John Petrucci is a legend. I never thought someone could outplay Joe Saturani but John has done that in my opinion. Total legend. Wish I could play one one hundredth of how Mr Petrucci plays guitar. Brilliant!!
I listen to him, and played this masterpiece way more than 430k times. I am happy that he exists so I can sleep and hear him 24/7 while working on my loud machines. Salute.
