Funny, funny man! It made stand up comedy seem so effortless but he was a pro. He knew his material and seamlessly transitioned into each segment. Great timing with a clean act. Miss this guy- one of a kind!

Even after watching this video numerous times over the years and now post (RIP ) It stills brings a laugh and a smile to life's crazier moments! I truly miss the originality of his humor....something today's mainstream comedians like Chappell will never achieve.
PCs: You may find this difficult to believe but GOOD comedians dont rehash the same bits over & over again WORD FOR WORD for every show they do. They try out new material & new bits. Even when they do old bits they change up some words here and there rather than verbatim. John was HILARIOUS the first timeIheard him. Loved it. Was just disappointing trying several more shows only to get the same EXACT bits...even shows decades apart.

Well typically they go on tour for a year and it’s the same routine essentially at each stop. They aren’t all televised or specials so most people haven’t heard the routine. Most of these videos are from the same tour
If you're going to pay money for comedy, this kind of stuff isn't it. You had your chance you blew it, you should have gone and seen Paul Revere and the Raiders. Hip long-haired comedy, not this short haired generic milquetoast kind of crap
If you don’t like his brand of comedy, don’t listen. Many of us think he’s hysterical and miss him very much. I could listen to him all day, even though I know most of the bits by heart. In my opinion, he was a legend.
