@@sonicwishesstudio what you mean as edit? You want to create remix or?

@@JohnR1se We're basically a group of video editors, which we edit Sonic footage to make a music video/montage/tribute video. Most commonly known as an AMV. But when it comes to studios that have multiple people editing it's what's called a MEP which is a multiple editor project.

I watched a gameplay just yesterday not knowing what it was, just watching sonic content, but at the first minutes sonic gave this super jump that as you say it give the feeling of freedom. I haven’t played other than unleashed and view a few of other game but this omens jump was so satisfying….

Now that you mention it, yeah it actually does sound like that. The environmentally fitting music is the unleashed side, while the electro part kicks in midway and still keeps the same pitch and style of the track. I'd like to see this type of approach to sonic music from SEGA one day :)

@@imagery5425 The Gameplay is pretty darn good, but it has some glaring flaws which you can feel after perishing thanks to them a couple times. Your jump not having an active hitbox without homing, or the slide not killing without the kick are just few jank spots i found.

That's true, before we went our own way with music for the next stages, we tried to put some similarities to original music in this track. And I really appreciate that you and other people like it! Thank you, dude!

​@@JohnR1se There is an indescribable feeling of nostalgia I get when listening to this song and I cannot begin to tell why. I don't know what it is. I don't know if it's the woodwind instruments, if it's strings, the drums, I have no clue. Maybe it's just all of it together. I'm not in any respect a technical person when it comes to music, I have virtually no understanding of music theory or how complex this stuff really is, so I don't want to try to pretend to be and insult how incredible this song is. It has such a forlorn, wayward feeling to it, and maybe that's because of the emotions that are tied to the instruments you used in it and my personal experience with just the general instrumentation. It invokes the feeling of a sunset, of something ancient, running away, and paradoxically, the feeling of saying goodbye while welcoming a new adventure. One might even describe the feeling as an omen, for lack of a better word. I hope this doesn't sound too cheesy or anything, I'm a writer and I care about the use of emotion in text, and I find it fascinating that I can't verbalize what I feel when I listen to this. It's a very foreign and strange feeling all on its own. I hope the purpose of your music was to invoke emotion, or that you at least derive some sort of feeling of joy or accomplishment from knowing it does. I'll keep listening to this song for as long as it takes to understand how to put what I feel into words, but it could be a long time. It gives me something to ponder and it's what I value in music. It goes without saying that this track is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever listened to. Sorry about all the hyperbole, but, whenever you're feeling doubt about what you make, remember this; in my humble opinion, you stand toe to toe with the audio titans that SEGA has working on the Sonic franchise.

Everything is alright with the copyright laws. We all need it to protect our own intellectual property from any type of not recommended usage. I mean the fact that you can shut down is not an equal fact you will do it. Also, my soundtrack itself has no connection to anyone's IP, so no one can take it down. Technically SEGA can take down these videos cause they characters appears here, but I'm not breaking fair use so there is no reasons to panic :D p.s. By the way, maybe I misunderstood, but just in case, I'll clarify - everything is fine with our fan game, about half a year later we will release 3 final episodes.

@@JohnR1se The thing is they took down original music just because it was tied to a sonic fan game. Music they have NO right to. In my opinion the copyright laws suck I think it's taking away the true value of art which is enjoyment. I think the laws needs a huge overhaul and is a good example of how monopolized our soceity is today. ALSO HALF A YEAR UNTIL FINISHED LESS GO!??? Huge fan of Omens I can't wait! Gonna speedrun the heck out of it :)

@@JohnR1se Sonic before the sequel got it's soundtrack taken down from some site by those in charge of music for SEGA I believe. TWIP made a video of the situation.

At least that’s one thing they got right. Even the Sonic games that suck ass have a killer soundtrack. Case in point, Sonic 06, sonic Forces, etc
