I remember John Ritter from Three's Company in the 1970's..77, 78 & 79 to be exact. So why did you choose to mention the 80's for time period of John Ritter's fame?
My fondest memory of John Ritter was when me and my wife were down in LA going to Disneyland we had stopped at a restaurant and had breakfast and John Ritter was in the booth next to us he actually said hi to us he was a very down to earth person and shook our hands when he got up to leave and waved goodbye as he got in his car outside the window ans we just thought my God he's overly nice and when we got up and asked for our check he had already paid it for us rest in peace John Ritter
I love John Ritter! This is the sweetest thing I've heard in quite some time. I would've loved to have met him, he seemed like one of the nicest people you'd ever meet
Boy I wish I could have been with y'all to meet him, I mainly knew him as Paul Hennessy from 8 Simple Rules because I was a little too young to know him is Jack from Three's Company, the character he played on 8 Simple Rules was the kind of dad I wanted to be, one who loves his kids so much that though at times he might embarrass them (when they're teens) would still love them. I heard what he told Kaley Cuoco before he died and it makes me think maybe though they were just TV family that he genuinely loved them as his own kids and family.
You and I both. You know, whenever I watch Three’s Company as John Ritter would make me laugh, I feel disappointed that he is not with us anymore. He was gone too soon.
Maybe you should watch the interview he gave about Heather O'Roukes' death. He actually sounds guilty as he tries to blame her and her father. He's very awkward. I heard rumour he was there the day that Heather was on the set they used for Jeopardy, parading back and forth in a bathing suit on a set full of sand.
Truly a great comedic actor. John's untimely death was almost unstoppable. I myself am a 1 in a million survivor of an Aortic Dissection. The survival stats do not favor the patient. RIP JOHN RITTER!!! YOU ARE MISSED❤
A colleague of mine survived that. He called 911 himself, & the ambulance came & got him to the hospital in time. Unfortunately, he died a couple of weeks after surgery, while he was recovering at his sister's house. He'd just retired at 59 w/ $4 million saved up. Didn't seem fair. He hadn't had health problems before.
Heard and read so many positive and wonderful things about both these beautiful human beings. Henry and John had/have such loving, caring hearts. It's a privilege to have had them share this planet with us in our time. These two are excellent examples of humans at their Best!!💜
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 Henry wasn't so great talking about Heather O'Rouke. He stutters, lies, tries to blame her and her father. You only know what they want you to know. You don't know who these men were in their secret or private lives.
When I read about his feud with Suzanne Somers ending and them reconciling, telling each other I love you shortly before his death in the newspaper, I almost cried.
Met him personally in 1986 while he stayed in hotel I was working. He was filming Letting Go with Sharon Gless. Served him room service throughout his stay. He was kind, genuine and considerate. He is missed. R.I.P.
He was very funny on Mary Tyler Moore. He was a tennis playing Priest or Brother, he was hilarious in it. You can see how great he was about to become.
My twin brother died the same way. Doctors treated him for a potential heart attack, but shortly later, massive stroke. a torn aorta was the official cause of death. Had they known, could have saved him, but it was not to be.
John was such a great and amazing actor . He'll always be missed and remembered . When it comes to which one I liked the most ? . I have to say , all of them ! Thank you so much for sharing such a legacy 🥰🙏🗽🇺🇸☃️❄🥰🗽🇺🇸☃️❄🐕🐾🙏🌈
I miss John Ritter. He was so talented. He always made me laugh. When he was in a movie, there was no doubt, it was going to be worth your time. Thank you John. Rest in peace.
I have always loved John Ritter & his run as jack tripper. I also enjoyed 8 simple rules. When he died I cried like he was family. Always will be missed.
Loved both actors growing up as a kid in the early 70's and was born with a whole in my heart and had open heart surgery when I was 4 grew up fine until April of '06 got a blood clot which caused a stroke on my left side went through 3 months of rehab to learn to walk talk and take care of myself and then on September first of '08 I didn't wake up that morning had a cardiac arrest which both my cat Nemo and my now ex wife Angy saved my life and found out at the end of January of this year had stage 2 Colon Cancer which they removed the tumor growth in time and very thankful that I'm still here.
I was blessed to have survived a ascending and descending aortic dissection in 2010. Thankfully, my life was saved and I am thankful, but it has never been the same! I think about John and Princess Diana all the time! If I had not SCREAMED out saying I am dying and knocked ALL the medical equipment off the stand in the emergency room that night, the doctor may have never come in and asked me questions because they were treating me for a heart attack too! I too would have DIED!
He had a way of engaging the audience on the other side of the camera, who were at home and at times were dealing with some really heavy and complicated personal issues. John, as Jack, gave those folks a short reprieve from their problems. Thak you John, for being so incredibly amazing.
John Ritter & Henry Winkler did a play together on Broadway, just before Ritter died, "The Dinner Party" or something like that! I had planned to buy tickets to see two of my favorite t.v. actors, together, but didn't! I still regret it! John, you are forever missed!
John Ritter was such a fixture in our house with Three’s Company. My mother loved him. She thought he was hysterical. I think knowing what a great comedian he was I like his portrayal of Reverend Fordwick in The Waltons. A completely straight part. It shows he wasn’t just a one dimensional actor.
He also played a Therapist in some movie whose name I forget with Donald Sutherland as a Hit Man training his Adult son (what's name from the TV Shameless and Cellular) to be a Hit Mna also. It was a serious role very unlike Jack TRipper in Trhee's Company.
I loved fondue first, then John Ritter! I was so sorry about him passing 🙏🙏 I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve watched “ The most wonderful time of the year”! I love this movie because Fonzie plays a loving uncle♥️♥️♥️♥️
WOW! That's a tough one, favorite memory of John Ritter I would say Threes Company his work on this show was timeless John was an incredible actor I absolutely LOVED the way John and Henry met! We all miss John gone too soon and I love Henry as well! Thanks Facts Verse❤👍🌟🙏
The cruise episode with Janet wanting to make the guy she liked jealous. When the drink after the pills kick in and he dances and carries on. One of the funniest episodes in all of tv history!♥️😅🤣😂🇺🇸
My 9 year old daughter and I were picking up dinner to go at a very small place in Studio City. The only other customer in there was John Ritter. He struck up a conversation with my daughter and was so sweet to her ( she had no idea who he was). I will always remember that.
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
John was so funny. Just a really great guy and very smart in front of and behind that camera. Jack tripper was icon is and still love the shows he did today.I miss himm
I grew up watching "Three's Company". I later watched "Clifford the Big Red Dog" with my niece. He also did infomercials for "Where There's a Will, There's an A." I also think he cared about the world more than the public knew.
It's still so tragic to have lost him at such a young age. Thankful for all the joy he brought over the years. I also liked him on "The Waltons". Thank you for sharing this.
John Ritter totally took me by surprise when he was in Sling Blade. It confirmed what I thought … if given a dramatic roll he would knock it out the park. I was always a fan but when I saw him in this movie I knew he had a dramatic actor ready to pour out. What an amazing soul. RIP you’re missed. Man he was great!
John Ritter was the center of Three's Company and Eight Simple Rules and the show was not the same without him. Happy Days was not the same after Ron. Howard left because Ron and Henry played off each other so well.
I loved "Hero At Large." John did a great job in playing the guy next door who unexpectedly becomes a hero and then decides to keep it up but runs into problems along the way. We lost him way too soon.
Loved him Cried when I heard he passed Saw every episode of 8 simple Rules, was saddened to watch the episodes after he passed. The cast tried their best but it was so difficult. I love that Kayle was a cast member as his daughter, she did an interview and talked about how difficult it was to be in front of the camera without John ,without her dad. Very sad never forgetting you John
Met his family at zip lining less then two weeks after he died; it hit me hard his children and wife were lovely. My husband has been diagnosed with an aneurysm much like what Ritter had; caught by accident in a chest X-ray; I guess only God knows what are time on earth is up.
An Aortic abdominal aneurysm is a very tricky problem. Anyone could have one and not know it. I used to organize adult health fairs for my church. During my searches for things to help people I ran across a company named Lifeline Screening. I highly recommend their inexpensive screenings. One of my best friends brother was talked into having the non envasive screenings done. They found an abdominal aneurysm. Saving his life.
I saw an episode of Clifford The Big Red Dog the other day. Henry Winkler made a voice guest appearance as Clifford's new friend Artie. Knowing that Clifford was voiced by John Ritter, it was nice hearing both voices together.
They were contemporaries and their relationship was symbiotic. Compare their claim to fame character's Fonzi vs Jack Tripper. Those two characters needed each other to blossom into what they are today...iconic. I watch Three's Company more than I did Happy Days. But I remember the guest stars or cross overs for sure. Hank Aaron, Tom Hanks and Robin Williams alongside Pat Morita the cook. Love the 80's I miss them a bunch! 💯 ♥️
That reminds me of a story. When Christopher Reeve was paralyzed and told he would never walk again, he was gutted and depressed. A doctor under mask came, talking with an accent and acting crazy. Reeve was given a fright, until the doctor removed the mask, and revealed himself as Reeve's old college buddy, and best friend, Robin Williams, who cracked jokes and made Reeve laugh and forget his devastating news. You mentioning Winkler made me think about Robin Williams being there for his friend as well.
Always enjoyed John Ritter's performances. He and I were Fraternity Brothers of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI). I learned of his affiliation after he had passed. He went to USC and I from AZ State University. Since his passing, I always have enjoyed hearing about John's professionalism and his being a great Husband, Father, Son, and friend. There was an episode of MASH back when McLean Stevenson was portraying Henry Blake. Brother McLean is an ad astra Brother like Brother Ritter. I wonder if either of them shared or knew that they were Phi Gams playing in a n episode together? The MASH episode had Brother John as a wounded soldier and he was part of the storyline. I thought I would share from our Fraternity Brothers encounters and possible experiences. 'It's not for college days alone!' Sharing this and loving all my Brothers this always makes me mighty proud to be a Phi Gam (AMPTBAPG). Thanks to Facts Verse. Matt Marino
You're very much welcome and thanks for sharing your life story too! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of video would you like to see?
Monsieur Ritter and Monsieur Winkler two of the most genuine loving person! I was a wild child and the only time my parents were able to keep me at the table to eat it was happy days afterschool and three's company for super ! You see my parents did not like us watching to much t.v but notice that when these two show would be playing we would all gated around the set and by the way we are 13 kids and all would laugh together because of them ! I just wanted to let you know that it was the best memories of my childhood! Thank you .Hollywood can use to take a real good leçon of what CLASSE looks like and is
Only knew John Ritter as Jack Tripper in Three's company and simply loved his character which ,I'm sure, reflected his real self He was an actor par excellence . He won million hearts 💕 as Jack and spread so much joy .We owe him so much. Will always be missed
@FactsVerse Hard to say. One of the last ones where Janet was named in a will from one of her customers at the flower shop. She got a vase determined to be worth next to noting, but Jack and Terry tried to piece it together after Mr. Furley broke it. Jack says to Terry, "hey look, it's from the Wan Tai dynasty!" Then Terry tells him he has the pieces backwards, and Jack realizes it says "made in Taiwan."
@FactsVerse Another good one was when Jack and Chrissy were in the bathroom putting up a shower curtain and Mr. Furley was in the living room misunderstanding them. Chrissy: "It won't reach" Jack: "Of course not, Chrissy you have to unfold it first." During this time Furley's reaction was priceless.
So sad for John's passing. Thanks for this video. I learned much that i didn't know about him and Winkler. I love their work, their entertainment abilities. It's heartbreaking his wife lost the suit against hospital and doctors. These institutions want all the glory but not the responsibility. They want you to feel like when you walk into a hospital or Dr's office you're walking onto Mt. Olympus. These people are merely human. I believe the plaintiffs.
I was on vacation at Disney World when the news came on that he died. I couldn’t believe it! My family loved watching 8 Simple Rules, and my Parents knew him from Three’s Company! Such a funny guy and he seemed very down to earth. R.I.P John Ritter!
What a nice tribute and I love both of these men as actors and humanitarians. I'm glad that they got to be good friends and I was so sadto hear of John's passing. I think that the extra weight didnt help either

I can visualize The Fonz going over to Ritter's home, then when he walks in, Ritter says..."Hey, the Fonz is here". To that Winkler give two thumbs up, with an "AYYYY!".
In the UK John Ritter was well known but not really famous, he had been in the Walton's which had been very popular over here, but Three's Company got shown sporadically on late night ITV, that had been a US remake of the hugely popular Man About the House. 8 Simple Rules was shown at teatimes on Channel 4, loved it. I love watching the bloopers that are on here
When you create something make sure that you actual have those persons making those statements on film or video to back up those claims. There are entirely too many content creators on here trying to make a quick buck. Also instead of just leaving a thumbs up maybe involve everyone on here with a little more input from time to time. Thanks 👍
