All referees that failed to see or charge rabbit punches should be penalised. The videos can be reviewed & re-evaluated by commissioning independent panel of judges from all boxing associations!

Ruiz is old already, was his time and hasn't recovered from the Tua fight. Don't get me wrong, Ruiz had good accomplishments by defeating Evander Holifield, and many down the way, fought with the has-been Gollata.

Ruiz was an old, worn out, plodding fighter who was an easy target. Hayes was a younger, dirty fighter who took advantage of poor refereeing. That many hard punches to the back of the head damages the equilibrium. An honest and better referee would have disqualified Hayes. This obviously was the ugly side of corrupt professional boxing.

If he had campaigned at heavyweight in the 1970s, he would not have featured in the top 20, let alone top 10.🥊

I bet all the people complaining about Haye's dirty tactics are Tyson Fury fans and ignore all of his. I blame the ref more than Haye though, most fighters take whatever shots they can, ref should have warned and possibly started taking points away.

So many repeated fouls by David Haye and no warnings, no point deductions, etc...this fight should have ended in Haye being disqualified! Easy to see why Ruiz's corner threw in the towel because they were not getting a fair fight by the ref or Haye....should have done it a lot sooner!
