John Scott perfectly nailed the emotion of Tarzan leaving civilization to go where he belongs, back to the jungle. This is such a beautiful work of music.
It's such a shame we can't see the original theatrical ending of *"GREYSTOKE: The Legend of Tarzan"* anymore, where a narration by Phillippe d'Arnot explains why Jane couldn't join Tarzan/John to his African jungle home. Though according to IMDB, there's another ending filmed - but the footage remains undiscovered - where Jane does indeed join Tarzan in his jungle home.
