Actually I had been wanting to see an update too since those last videos. Then I thought why don't I just go visit John and make one myself. It was great to see his collection and chat jabos and plants in general. Thanks again for watching Doug!
Glad you're making progress with catching up with the backlog of summer videos. I can relate with small children interrupting the filming of a RU-vid gardening video. Nice to see a big fruiting Cambuca in there.
Yeah man, life gets in the way of our plant addictions sometimes lol. John's 8 year old seedling fruiting cambuca is a wonder and gives us container growers hope certainly.
@@VirginiaFruitGrower Seems like all, or most(?), of his plants are in pots, and they're doing quite well. All the videos I've seen of his backyard are cast in partial shade from those huge trees in the neighborhood. Probably has ideal conditions for Jaboticaba there.
@@bjohnson2003 yes I don't recall any jabos planted in the ground. It does look ideal for growing there. Luckily for him he doesn't have to haul anything into a greenhouse each winter.
Yes I agree about the Restinga. Sabara 5 has super beautiful new growth as well. Sorry about the delayed release. I got backlogged with vids and life in general lol.
Dear friend Thank you for uploading a wonderful video. I watched it in full and received high praise. I love your channel! Twice I will come again. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Wow a new tour at jtm’s place, awesome I wonder if my variegated sabara from steve is from the same tree I’ve been watching his micrografting video again in last couple of days, he’s even got his hat from Pete still on. Loved it mate, top tour with 2 top blokes👍👍
I would wager that all of our variegated sabaras came from a single mother tree. Yes I noticed that he was sporting the Green Dreams hat and the Wildlands shirt on too. Perhaps one day I'll catch up with Mr Novak or Adam. Thanks so much for watching!
There are a ton of gem information in this video. I have to rewatch multiple times to catch everything. This is one of the most informative tour ever bro. Great work! Thank you for showing us what these collectors are doing. Lots of work but fun of course.
Sincere thanks brother 🙏. I've actually watched it a few times too. All the tidbits of information JTM shared made the tour a breeze and enjoyable. Hope you're having a good Sunday 👍.
Hi Gopherbobz! It's awesome that you live so close to Mr Novak and have seen his collection. I'll try to make an effort to connect with him the next time I'm in Florida. Thanks so much for watching and have a great rest of your weekend my friend.
Brother, that is an amazing Jaboticaba collection! Another great source of information too. Thanks for sharing. Hope you and the family have a great weekend.
Great information. I haven’t heard a lot about these trees, I definitely haven’t heard of all those varieties. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the rest of your week!🤗🌱
As you can see there are so many varieties. I've gotten myself down the slippery slope of collecting jabos lol. Again many thanks for your support. I must say that a lot of people that I thought were good buddies that I always visit have disappeared so I'm very thankful for you.
Wow! That is super nice! Hi friend! Goood morning! Happpy weekend! Thank you for visiting our ls this morning! Love lots! karen plant food travel adventure!🎉💛
Amazing Very entertaining Learning about trees There’s a lot of fruit trees The pepper looks great So many interesting plants Thank you so much for sharing 💚🌿
Thanks so much. I respect that he has most all his jabos in pots too like us. He's lucky not to have to bring them in each winter tho. Have a great rest of the week!
All the beauties are yours. Before I start my words, I offer love and respect. May your life pass in health and peace. God bless you and your loved ones. I hope you get where you want to be. Thank you very much for sharing dear person. hope to see you again soon.
Hi plant buddy! Yes there are tons of varieties of jabos and the list is growing. Start a piggy 🐷 bank if you want to start collecting cause they fetch a respectable price lol. Great to see you stop by 😁
Those are quite the size of the fruits collection. Looks like all are growing well. I have learned from this video how to grow a smaller or bigger tree. So cool. That's a big-size jack fruit tree. So he sells on eBay too that's great. Super hot peppers that are so interesting. I like the lemongrass. I can't grow them up here. Thumbs up friend. Hope your day is amazing
@@VirginiaFruitGrower thanks, a wonderful video too. It seems that the annual rains in your region are very good, if not, it would be difficult to maintain all those jaboticabas there with such a level of health ... in my province we have gone through some droughts and, no matter how much I water them every day, several of them have become ill; now they recover little by little, with liquid iron, fertilizers, rainwater, shade.
@@marcosmusixpcmusicam some parts of Florida does seem to have good consistent rainfall. Sorry to hear that some of your trees have suffered from drought. Have a great weekend 🤠👍

@@mattmcghee1137 sounds like you're doing it right if your grow tent is stuffed! But yeah looks like you'd be okay growing a jabo outside for most of the year.
Maybe with global warming I'll not only be able to grow more Palms but also some Jabos lol. Awesome collection and your definitely opening my eyes up to grafting 👍😁
Maybe so. I think most of us wish we were just a zone warmer to be able to grow more things lol. I wish I was vacationing in wherever you took your profile picture.
