Don't forget Wall is considerably better than Kyrie with no superstar presence in his squad. Kyrie may be the more dependable player in crunchtime, but he has Lebron on his team. Give Wall his credit...
John Wall > Kyrie it's no debate anymore tbh the way john controls the pace of the game, his feel for them game, setting his teammates up for easy buckets, and also his improved jumper I might add has boosted him ahead of Kyrie
As a kyrie fan I never thought he was better than Wall. But I do think Kyrie is a better fit with Lebron. I still think Kyrie is better than Steph tho. John Wall might be the best PG in the league.
We'll see in this years finals (most likely), But steph got owned last year. But you gonna bring up the injury no doubt. But this year will just prove what most NBA fans already know... Yeah, coach hated me pulling up on a fastbreak, that isn't good team ball. Only if Steph had a coach like Ken Carter.
Kyrie Would destroy this dude in the Playoffs and is Clearly a better player his offensive ability is more valuable than Walls entire game one win and the first time Wall outperforms career head up in a gripe and Wizards get happy I bet Kyrie Give Wall that work head up in the Playoffs though.
John Wall is better than Kyrie Irving because he is a better passer, defender, and almost as good at scoring. He is the third best PG in the league in my opinion
DaggerMan11 yes he is, he's carrying his team with no superstars. Curry can barely carry the warriors past .500 and below teams, this just proves that the warriors are vulnerable without Durant and without that deep bench last two years. Ppl elevated curry as the closest to Jordan too fast. He's overrated, just the best three point shooter and a great point guard but not better than wall.
+Mow Better Lawn Service John Wall is doing an excellent job, but the Wizards are outscoring teams by an average of about 2.4 points per 100 possessions. The Warriors are about 10 points better per 100 possessions than Washington, which is a *massive* difference. So yes, John Wall has a less talented supporting cast, but the Wizards are also performing considerably worse than the Warriors. If they were performing at a similar level despite the gulf in the talent, then Wall might have a case. Also, there is no reason to think Curry couldn't carry the Warriors if they were less talented. His recent slump was just a matter of the team missing a lot of open shots. Every team goes on slumps at some point, and in fact, the Warriors have been on fewer slumps over the last 3 years than basically any other team in NBA history. And this isn't really that important, but I also want to point out that Golden State's bench is what was overrated last year, not Curry. Their bench is about the same if not a little better this year.
DaggerMan11 you're crazy, they have no bench depth this year. If the Cavs jelled better then it could easily be a sweep but the warriors might win just because the Cavs are atrocious on defense this year even if one of the big four goes cold. Well you can't expect the shots to go in every game, curry came not post up and does not get to the rim as easily when he wants like Kyrie and wall can.
Mow Better Lawn Service 2016 Bench: Iguodala, Livingston, Clark, Ezeli, Speights, Barbosa 2017 Bench: Iguodala, Livingston, Clark, West, McGee, McCaw Those are pretty similar benches. Speights and Barbosa are decidedly below-average players who were overrated because they offer the kind of "instant offense" bench scoring that always gets overrated. And look throughout NBA history. Teams as good as the Warriors never get "swept easily" (or swept at all). Teams as good as the Warriors rarely even lose in the Finals. They deserve more respect than that. And yes, you can't expect Curry to shoot exceptionally well every game. But he has a better chance of shooting exceptionally well every game than anybody else in NBA history, which is what makes him dangerous.
john wall owned the cavs this is coming from a die hard kyrie fan back in st patrick days. but its only one game we all know kyrie is prbly worst star player defender besides isaiah thomas
Young Scee that was when Kyrie was 19-21 years old. Wall was also taking his teams to the lottery at 20-22 years old. Wall is still the better player tho.
