Magnificent. Nothing like a big Kb roaring through the Canterbury highcountry. I did that trip to the Coast so many times, having both my sets of grandparents on 'the other side'. Did I see an Ab there somewhere? I had forgotten about the electric loco. that took us through the Otira tunnel. I wish this had sound. However, I can visualise the smell of smoke in the carriages. I stopped it just after five minutes. Will have to see the rest later. What is the status of the Kb that they were working on, Alistair Cross?
