JOHN WICK 2 (2017) | MOVIE REACTION| ONE OF THE BEST ACTION MOVIES EVER!!! 

Remember that Keanu Reeves is 53 during the filming of this movie. I saw a short clip of them making this movie online. During action, he is John Wick. He is flipping a guy and killing him on the ground. Moving as fast as a 20 year old! You hear, “Cut!” He instantly becomes Keanu Reeves. Breathing hard and bending over and grabbing his pants at the knees like, “I’m too old for this shit!” I feel ya Keanu!! I feel ya! 😂😂😂

One of the many things I love about the John Wick franchise is how realistic the action seems. Perfect example, the fight between John Wick and the woman body guard. A six foot tall man who probably weighs at least 160 pounds, defeating a 5 foot something, 100 pound girl. Doesn't get any more realistic than that.

I’m a simple man. I see John Wick and Devin G, I click play.

Best line of part 2 - "You stabbed the devil in the back, incinerated the priest temple, burnt it to the ground! Now he's free of the marker...what do you think he'll do next?". I had to add that little bit lol.

The Sommelier scene is probably my favorite equipment scene in all action films. It's so well written for the "hidden world" they've created.

lil fyi and background regarding the marker and how it ties into the 1st movie. As we all know John worked for Viggo the boss in the 1st movie. John met Helen and he wanted out and asked Viggo to let him leave. Viggo knowing how John is and him being literally the best gave him an impossible task. Bc why tf would you let your best go that's bad for business and for you. The impossible task Viggo gave to John was to eliminate all of Tarasov's enemies in a single night. Knowing he couldn't do it alone, he sought aid/got it from Santino which in return for promised a marker, a blood oath that Santino could cash in whenever. Not certain whether he was the only one who would've helped John or if he asked others for assistance but as John put it it's not good when he owe someone, and from context clues Santino definitely wanted John in his back pocket. So knowing how the story goes and how Viggo put it in the 1st movie "the amount of bodies he buried that day laid the foundation for what we are".

You can tell Keanu trained for real for this role. The way he handles the shotgun when selecting it at the beginning is exactly the way they do for speed loading in real competitions.

The actor playing the manager of the Continental Hotel in Rome is OLD school. His name is Franco Nero. I believe he was the original Django.

Neo and Morpheus...together again. LOL

I remember seeing this in theaters when it came out! Who would have thought a franchise made by Keanu Reeves and his stunt double in the Matrix would be so successful and brilliantly done?!

That's probably one of the most awesome depictions of a shotgun cleaning house that I've ever seen.

Seen it mentioned somewhere before. Some people asked why John shot Gianna, and I think it was for two reasons: 1) John needed to do it because it was to finish the job. 2) John did her a favor according to her faith. Many Catholic teachings say suicide damns people to hell. Because John shot her as she bled out, probably before she stopped breathing or her heart stopped, he killed her so she didn't commit suicide. Just some small interesting stuff I saw here and there about that scene. Great reaction again man. 👍

Peter Stormare, (The russian in the beginning) Plays a good guy in Hamilton from 1998. Carl Hamilton is a swedish covert ops military officer of some kind with navy background.

After John Wick 3, you should check out the equalizer. Its a good film and there isnt much reactions to that movie.

I love that scene where the dude asks if John is there for the pope lol I mean, if the worlds most famous assassin came out of retirement then showed up in Rome I guess I'd think the same lmao That scene of him choosing his weapons and getting his suit is also amazing, probably my second favourite moment from the movies Can't wait to see what you think of the 3rd, it has like twice the fights and in my opinion is even better then this one

They say that Keanu is one of the nicest people in Hollywood. I'd say he's also the most deadly too. You should look up some of the vids on him training for these movies. He's no joke.

Fun fact: Stuntmen consider stair falls one of the most dangerous stunts, because they're so difficult to control and the risk of injury is so great. A well done realistic stair fall is really impressive. I LOVE that look on the mute girl's eyes when John stabs her. Pure hate and anger. When Common and Wick fall into the Continental and encounter the manager, it's like two schoolboys having a fight and getting caught by the teacher.

As for Peter Stormare (the Russian boss in the beginning) was a good guy in Armageddon

I actually met Common in the airport right after this movie came out. I asked him if he would be back for John Wick 3. And he said “maybe we’ll see”. Maybe he’ll be back for John Wick 4 lol.

Rewatching for fun, love these movies and your reactions. But dude, it just hit me. When Lawrence Fishburne said me and John go way back (subtle nod to the matrix years ago) gave me the idea that that new sequel/reboot of the matrix recently should've been tied to John wick, where neo from "the matrix" and everyone are actually in John Wicks world (inside the matrix) but don't know it.
