Many people don't understand why John and Winstom didn't kill the Adjudicator when she deconsecrated the New York Continental as a neutral zone, but they didn't kill her because they wanted to have the Continental as a safe zone again and the Adjudicator was the only one who could do it, so if they killed her right there, that parley on the roof would never occured and Winston would be banned by the High Table and the Continental would be left to an unknown fate. Besides, the Adjudicator is only a messenger of the High Table and we don't shoot the messenger, right?
Dont you worry... The high table killed the adjudicator the moment she set foot off new york as her incompetence to finish the killer of the newest member of the high table that too in the continental.😅😅😅
Incredible reaction guys! I absolutely loved it. I had the same reactions when I first saw these. Keep up the AWESOME job and can't wait for you guys to get a load of chapter 4
You guys reactions to the knife fight scene are awesome! I wanted to hint at it when it watched your John Wick 2, but decided to let it go. Gotta be the best scene in the movie! And the axe to that guys head? Totally uneccessary !
I love the Easter eggs throughout these movies. Nods to the Matrix and Bruce Lee movies among others. The last two he fights before Zero were in the movie because Keanu is a big fan of theirs. I adopted a pittie about 6 months ago and named him Charon in memory of one of my favorite characters. RIP Lance.
31:40 if you want to see more of those 2, check out the Indonesian films 'The Raid: Redemption' (2011) & 'The Raid 2' (2014) - and hopefully with original Indonesian voice acted audio
He fell and ricocheted off of a metal/iron old school fire escape!! I don’t think many people focus on that and think about the ACTUAL PAIN AND INJURIES you would get from hitting that as hard as he did!! That alone could break your back, vertebrae, or spine. Rewatch that part. That’s just not something you would plan.
The Elder is more like a spiritual overseer of the High Table than actually the leader. He oversees the council of the 12 members of the High Table as a means to maintain the order and also links the modern day High Table with it's ancient Muslim and Arabic roots to the tribe of the Hashashim, the ancient assassins.
An incredible coincidence, two days ago I saw your reaction to the second part, and shortly after comes the third, without a doubt one of the best reactions I have seen in this saga are yours.
It doesn't care if John kills the Elder, the Adjudicator or any member of the High Table because they are replaced by another ones in the same position, because the High Table as an organisation is higher than it's members that are disposables. So neither John or anyone can destroy the High Table to the ground, but they can use the High Table rules against the organisation to achieve their goals.
And THAT is how to thoroughly enjoy and engross yourself in a JW film for a reaction. This was a blast to watch, just like hanging out with friends, drinking, and loving the franchise.
12 gauge slug would be what someone wants to deal with armor. Because that's effectively a "low velocity 0.729 caliber bullet". For reference, that anti-tank guns commonly featured in games are 0.50 caliber rifles. 12 gauge is what people hunt deer and bear with. Even in cases where a slug might not penetrate a piece of body armor or a helmet, it would give the person wearing it a very bad day at the very least, if not still transfer enough energy to cause death by internal trauma.
@@CoyzyMovieNight Me too. Dacascos crushed it. And apparently that bit where he sits practically on top of John was an improv by Dacascos and it made Keanu actually uncomfortable.
if the elder's base is in the desert. the high table should be easier to find because they're lower than the elder "maybe". What if he chose to take them all down instead of trying to get out again by doing a task for the elder. another thing is that he can still have a ring finger for the whole movie. He has nothing to lose anymore and maybe it's a good alternative story for the 4th sequel.
Having this movie suggested for a date, I bought the first two on DVSs, to get up to speed. I wonder how the waiting for all those experiences of seeing the first runs would have been; like the actual long wait I had for the _Star Wars_ franchise?
Please don't take this as a criticism. Your discussion of John controlling the fall at the end as he and Winston had planned it was absolutely what the movie portrayed. The problem is one of the falls he bounces off a roof then falls at lest 20 feet and bounces of a railing in the middle of his body. He is John Wick, but he is also still human. The overdid it with that fall. No human would live. (still a GREAT movie!)
Winston didn't betray John... carefully look at his body language before he shoots John...also If he wanted John dead he would have shot his head. He shot his chest because he knows he knows his suit is bulletproof.
@@CoyzyMovieNight Sounds so NOBLE to be a Ninja except Zero's group creep in silently to KILL mercilessly w/o even an ability to defend themselves! IMO John had no real reason to knock him off; Zero already wounded beyond ability to defend himself! I guess it's KARMA; the new definition! ;-)
Not bad almost 65yrs old for Keanu. Couple of suggestions watch SPEED from 94 see Keanu near beginning of his come up as a great actor it still holds up today except for 1 or 2 minor 90s details. Also one of the smartest movies ever see is LAW ABIDING CITIZEN with Gerard Butler and Jaime
The scene with the chinese doctor is such a movie mistake. Why does he pulls up his shirt and then let John shoot him? How can you've been shot in the stomage and shoulder if there are no bullitholes in his shirt????? Just saying 😁😁
