Looks good compared to watching Jimmy Fallon play silly games with the guests rather than interview them and Stephen Colbert with his TDS@@user-wm3bf7pi3u
I read a book about Johnny. He was absolutely unbelievable and gifted on the show. But even during the commercials, he was absolutely too shy to carry on a conversation with a guest. He would back into a comer at parties. Just amazing.
I loved how Johnny would have the kids from a local high school come on to the show each year to give bird impersonations. The kids prepared all year for a national competition of bird calling. They were amazing and Johnny was always intrigued.
What an era, a time when late night hosts didn't have to take jabs at politicians all the time, elected officials did there jobs and didn't lie every time they opened their mouths Oh the memories...
@@J-KEY Constrained is a great description. I heard Kimmel once say that hosting isn't like it used to be because if you're not really nice, the guests don't return. In the old days, they had nowhere else to go. Still, I can't watch Fallon.
He made a point to keep political opinions out so everyone could enjoy the show. How sad now all are politically scripted, malicious, and without humor, just rancor.
