Covid 19 brought me here. And johnny’s book page 130, his “commercial”. It seems fitting this was his final show, an artist to the end, the crowd was very gracious and patient, he’s trying his hardest. We love you Johnny.

We would expect no less from the people of SWVA. I was a great final chapter to an amazing book. I had the chance to tour the Johnny Cash Museum and his story is beyond belief. Thank you for watching us during all this

He was very brave to make this appearance. He had recently lost June. He knew he wasn't well, but he still made this appearance in support of the loving family with whom he shared the decades long legacy of the American Treasure; The First Family of Country Music.😊😊😊

Johnny Cash is a legend and will never be forgotten. Not only for his amazing music, but also his fighting spirit. He was an addict who fought addiction for years but still kept doing his best, he was a man of the people who spoke up against injustice (see his song Man In Black for instance), and he was just an overall good person who believed in trying to leave this world better than he found it. I know it’s hard to see him like this, but it shows how much of a fighter he is even until the end. RIP to the Man In Black.

While some see a man diminished here, I see a man proud and honored.

Holiday/4th of July weekend. June Carter had died a few months earlier. Johnny was bereft. I was there.

Respect. If we’re fortunate enough, we live a long life. My parents and sister did not. This is a special video.

Didn't like seeing Johnny in that shape

Me neither. I was never a fan of him or his type of music. But actually, not only was he ill and dying, he had just lost his wife a few weeks before this performance. But, a musician would always push forwards for his/her fans.
