I had the privilege of meeting Johnny back in 2017 at the Kanab, Utah - Western Stars Tribute. We were able to have a short conversation, but I could tell his memory was fading. I still watch the Rifleman series whenever it's on. Johnny was a good young actor. He certainly should have won an Emmy.

I still watch "The Rifleman" every day, 2 episodes....never get tired of seeing these shows. Loved Mark McCain. (and had a crush on "Lucas:)

I am so saddened that this extraordinary man is fighting Alzheimer’s Disease! He was my first crush at ten yrs old watching “The Rifleman!” May God Bless him & watch over him now!♥️

He was my childhood crush too at 11 or 12 yrs old! Such an extraordinary talented man! Praying that God watches over him as he goes through Alzheimer’s, which is such a crippling disease! ♥️

When I was a kid, I loved Johnny Crawford. Late in life I befriended Joey Walsh who was also a child actor at the same time as Johnny. But I never saw him in shows. Also lived with Mark Cavall (know him) ?
