He complains too much IMO. He had an easy job. All he had to do was look good. A lot of people would love for that. I liked some of his movies like Ed Wood, Dead Man, and a few others, but some of his characters just got so weird. Especially in the Tim Burton films. He was made to play that type of bad boy heartthrob character kind of like Christopher Reeves was perfect for Superman.
It’s hard to believe this extremely good looking guy played not only totally different characters but weird characters which doesn’t suit his handsome face but he did due to his talent. No wonder he is one of the versatile actors in Hollywood . He and Gary oldman for me the most versatile actors . Both constantly taking totally different characters .
I think he always did weird characters because he did not like to be sexualized and treated like a sex symbol only wanted to pay rent and be a musician 🥺

so cool, so young, so charismatic, so authentic, so lucky to be getting those parts at that age. now a days you don't see young actors making the same choices or.. along the same lines of what he made. going against, i mean, now it's really just treadmill produce, like a candy bar or a car. commercialized and typical. everyone, all of them. and the ones that aren't, aren't as cool as he is or was, young. one of a kind.
johnny is incredibly talented. i’m so happy he tried out other roles rather than sticking with his normal teenage heart throb or bad boy type of role. he’s extremely handsome as well
