Depp *IS* Pirates of the Caribbean! The franchise is nothing without him.

Disney needs to humbly apologize to Mr Depp and restore the Captain Sparrow role to him (if he'll take them back). They were wrong to condemn him without first discovering the truth. They owe him big. If they don't fix this, I'll never support anything Disney again. I don't think that I'll be the only fan they'll lose.

Listening to her attorney is like watching paint dry. Notice how every witness is annoyed and exasperated when she is questioning them.

My son was a victim of DM. It’s not just a female issue and women can be as violent as men. After hearing and seeing what I have so far, Mr. Depp has been railroaded by a conniving, mean and mentally unstable woman and if he’s guilty of anything, it’s was a poor choice in a wife. He doesn’t deserve to lose his reputation over her actions.

Makes me sick people can lie like this and totally screw up someone's life! She's evil.

One thing is for sure, that NOBODY will ever hold Amber Heard as one of the finest actors in this generation…EVER!!!

I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first. But I knew, the minute I heard her screaming at him about how she "hit him, not punched" on a secret recording, and heard the way he was speaking with her, that she was the abuser and not the victim. I've been in an abusive relationship before, and I would NEVER talk to my abuser that way so as not to set them off.

What does this attorney keep trying to lead him into... It is absolutely pathetic seeing her try to push this false agenda.

Her poor lawyer should have never taken this case, Amber has given her nothing concrete to defend her with and it's making her lawyer look like she was hired from a bus stop.

This Guy is smart, he kept answering a lot of the questions with only yes and no in very detached way which makes you wants him to elaborate more even from AH lawyers, so he 'saves' the talking for the crucial moments where he can explain without being interrupted , also his answers were very logical and fair.

Johnny is "one of the finest actors of his generation". So true. It's funny to hear the questions asked of Christian that he already answered as well as questions that are not clear. Christian asks, "are you asking me this..." and Elaine saying, "yes" reluctantly because she doesn't even know what she is asking. Such a ridiculous trial that should NOT be happening. Amber is wrong. She should be embarrassed. SHE is responsible for her "reputation" being in the gutter. All of her endorsements and acting "career" should be ended! I was a teenager in the 80s. Although I do not know him personally, Johnny Depp always radiated this aura of mystery, was very gracious and softly spoken in interviews. He will ALWAYS be cherished for his charisma, his contribution to “the industry” and will be remembered as a fine actor. I pray for his family and those dear to him. I don’t appreciate how the lawyer laughed like Johnny was nothing anymore. Like he was washed up. He had commercials and stuff coming in when the divorce happened and she made the accusations. I saw that on television myself with the news snippets. Johnny always proclaimed his innocence but couldn’t get anyone to listen to him in the industry. My heart went out to him at that time too! He was always known as someone calm and caring before this and so someone like that doesn’t automatically change. The agent pretty much lambasted Heards case.

I love that Depp’s agent gives answers that make it so hard for Heard’s legal team to twist it. Never really a yes or no answer and providing full background and context on the question being answered. She has to ask four questions around any answer he gives.

Amber Heard has involuntarily restored Johnny's career and reputation. The universe has a way evening the playing field, especially when lies are used to persecute someone.

We are finally getting to see the witnesses that can make the case for JD losing roles because of her accusations. I think this guy laid it out pretty well that at a minimum, Depp lost Pirates 6 directly because of her actions and accusations, which seem to be completely false at this point.

You're delusional if you think Amber's allegations didn't ruin Johnny's reputation or at least career opportunities. To people closest to him of course his image of him didn't change. But the studios are mindful of public perception and they don't want their main star to have a negative image, thus impact the sales of the films

Tragic. What makes zero sense in my mind, is how a woman could experience the horrific, sadistic physical invasion she accused him of and then make him a cup of coffee the next morning (as she testified) and months later try to reunite with him in San Francisco. Also the timing of those horrific allegations coincided with a 5 million dollar lawsuit-not when they were happening. A sane human would run away as far as possible from someone who could debase them at that level. Her words and actions do not make sense.

It sounds like Amber Heard's lawyer is making Johnny Depp's case for her. She's ruining his career. Granted, he'll be okay financially, but when you've worked all your life for something, you reputation in that profession is everything. In the era of Me Too, a simple accusation by a woman against a man can completely destroy that reputation. Until she establishes conclusively that Johnny Depp physically hit Amber Heard, all this does is making Depp look like a victim.

In my opinion, Johnny Depp fell in love with a movie prop: a woman AH played in The Rum Diary movie. A character in his late friend's (the author of the book the movie is based on) head, a fictitious dream girl in Johnny's head, and not AT ALL what AH is in real life. I hope Johnny realizes the difference now. AH is full of venom and manipulation but Johnny held a lot of love for The Rum Diary movie and the woman's character in the movie because his late friend Hunter was so dear to him, and maybe that bond to the film made it more difficult psychologically and emotionally, for Johnny to break away from AH's clawing grip. However, after the USA Depp vs Heard trial, I believe it is clear AH is NOT the American dream portrayed in the movie, she has proved to be instead, the American NIGHTMARE! AH is definitely a narcissist and has severe personality disorders, and I believe definitely evil...definitely a manipulating liar.

I'm looking forward to hearing the testimony about the financial loss and damage caused by AH. I'd say the damage to Johnny Depp's career is far greater than 50 million and much more than she could ever pay.

Depp is one of the finest actors of his generation but he’s the best character actor in the last 100 years. When you watch Pirates, you know it’s Depp but you still think Capt Jack Sparrow is real. That’s hard for an actor to accomplish.
