One of the first times that an animated film has the actors actually act out the scenes but not in full costume... In addition to have them in the booth recording the dialogue

I am so used to Bill's regular british affect from other films he's been in... I was watching this movie and I was almost convinced that it just COULDN'T be him. I couldn't even tell. Who else agrees?

They just couldn't keep Jack Sparrow and Davey Jones apart could they, lol. :)

They use this as a reference to make the animations' characteristics, face expressions and body language more in sync with how they would react and move to what they say, see, do, etc. I hope that helps..

This was one of the best movie he Johnny was in that i just loved i could watch it every single day... I just loved on how he played his role.

From my understanding "rehearsal" training is really fun for actors, especially for stage actors. Think about it, it in a room with cast and crew and you get to brainstorm but also be loose at the same time.

@saiijackson it's an item used as a place holder, like a sword or a mug or hair piece (prop), all items that are unnatural and forced to be something are a prop(erty) and used to help express a scene or event. Now this type of Audio recording is really neat! Like a play but guess how they get the sounds there looking for and not recording in a booth. Normally called a LIVE recording, only like Tony Benneit (spelling?) anymore.

I totally see a Redwall or Martin the Warrior movie being made with this technique!
