100% True as the folks who werent keeping tabs on JD have become familiar with his awesomeness and what a quality human he is. And so young here! Watching him in this makes me sad that he is going to suffer so much in the future. Thank goodness its over now and he can just have his life back.
He has aged so significantly dealing with an emotionally abusive partner and choosing unhealthy coping mechanisms instead of leaving the relationship a lot sooner. All the stress has taken its toll. Amber is still verbally abusing him in her recent comments and her plans to appeal. Unreal!

Such a huge difference between an interview with Leno vs Letterman. With Letterman at least the two volley back and forth in a conversation that is spontaneous, each of them playing off of each other's jokes vs. boring, expected question after question, Leno missing Johnny's jokes. Johnny looked like, "Is he even listening?" And Leno was a standup comedian.
i remember when i was a lil kid i used watch sleepy hollow every Holloween when my parents where getting a divore etc it really helped me to develope alot of great memories with my dad. He passed away in August 2021 its been difficult for me and my brother but watching this really made me have fond nostalgia. :)

I remember watching this live,i have also been watching the defamation trail between he and and Ms. Heard ,he won he did however have to pay her some more money ,but he got his reputation back ,I’ve always loved his acting ,i had no idea he had such a traumatic childhood,as did I,so it made not only love him more but respect him too.
This was 22yrs ago & yet he still maintains that same sweet, humble temperament today. Hard to believe Lily Rose is 23, right?! Look how happy he is here. Even though he’s always maintained that same unwavering affability, it was obvious, towards the end of his marriage to AH (followed by the years of horrific lies aimed at destroying his career & reputation), that something was off. Maybe it was the excessive self-medicating he used to hide the daily physical & emotional torment or, maybe it was just a quiet, heavy sadness he felt over the entire fiasco. When both parents suffer from mental illness it’s a life time of chaos. I too was married and abused. Its a game families play when your parents are mentally ill, you attract that same type of mentality into your life bc we don’t know any better and or we don’t deserve any better.
