Believe it or not it was actually recorded in 1987 and was originally written for Keith Sweat for his album Make it last forever which was scheduled to be released the same year this came out but Keith passed on it and Teddy Riley gave it to Johnny Kemp and it was released in March of 1988 I believe

@BreeaShante Smart girl, you are. Trust me, hunny...this era was the BEST. I lived it and I was early/mid twenties then..and hitting the clubs back then BIGtime. I feel sorry for teenagers today, man. THIS was real dance music...what they have today is crap compared to what I grew up hearing on the radio and in the clubs.
