To play that Jaguar so low and accurately is a feat in itself. Don’t know how he does it. Hope The Smiths never reform. Just remember them for how great they were and how good Johnny Marr is.
Wow, Eddie did a great job. I really enjoyed this. For the little girls complaining, Morrissey and Vedder have 2 absolutely completely different voices and not to mention one has a British accent. Relax girls. This is really good.
LoveThief2112 are you joking? The actual song itself is incomplete without Morrissey. Same goes for Morrissey without marr.. It has to be a balanced equation, cuz there ain't no smiths and certainly no there is a light that never goes out without both marr and Morrissey.
Wow! I happen to love Eddie Vedder and I happen to like this song. I don't need validation from anyone. People need to move the fuck on and keep their negative comments to themselves.
great point. good job taking focus from the differences..the two got together and did it becuz they wanted too..regardless of the opinions of others.. props
@Heriberto Vivas you are totally right. I'm a hugh Moz fan too, but the music genius in Smiths is mr Johnny Marr. I hope people will understand that frontman is not always the band's ultimate substance. This is not a Moz cover.
Well done Eddie! You did a great job on a truly magnificent song. I would be the happiest person ever if the smiths did just one more concert before i die. Heaven knows i'm miserable now!!!
Eddie Vedder makes everything better! He made comfortably numb sound even more incredible and he did an amazing job with There's a light and it never goes out
Me , I’m just glad The Smiths songs still get the interest and recognition that they deserve. People will still be singing them in 2000 years on the planet Crange.
This is absolutely amazing. My fav song! My 2 fav bands ever. PJ and The Smiths... My fav singer on this planet EV and favorite guitarist JM. Thank you for this!
Omggggggg I’m so happy to find this. This is my all time favorite song (ties w/David Sylvian Forbidden Colours) but with Eddie-gave me absolutely the chills… F’ing phenomenal….♥️
Mano1971 you are awesome. Thank you for keeping our youth and ourselves grounded in who we are. We are grunge kids, who are proud and made our impact on the world! I love you dude!
That's very kind of you Jaime Anderson...I absolutely LOVE live music and anytime I have the opportunity to capture a magical moment such as Johnny Marr with Eddie Vedder and share it with fellow music lovers, it makes this RU-vid channel all the worth wild! I agree, our generation (kids born in the late 60's to mid 70's) experienced a magical moment in time back in the early 90's. It's our duty to pass along this great music to future generations and hopefully inspire them to create more magical moments for future generations....Happy Holidays and Namaste Jaime!
Difficult to see a rock singer more different to Morrisey than Vedder, he's a little bit lost at the end but he's got enough feelin' to get into the mood of the song and show his respect. Nice.
