The thumbs down is from Morrissey. His distain for Electronic would guide him to sabotage their American tour with competing dates to lower their ticket sales. Also when asked in an interview about this song he responded with "apt title if you ask me." (Not a direct quote but close enough)

Excellent song, heart felt wonderful lyrics. The beat skips we hear are for modern style, and not video skipping. New order, joy division, electronic etc were some of the best times to declare uniqueness. Johnny Maher in one of his truest forms, free and enjoying life.

I'm a synthesiser guy and producing my own and other bands' work, in my studio, but I love, unexpecticably, JM's guitar playing. And a dillema that bothers me for long; J. Marr with the Smiths or Electonic? Better on his own, it is good for him to sit and write his own stuff, because he's a guitar wizzard. And I'm saying this without any guitar knowledge. It just sounds so good in my ears. Tony, Thessaloniki, Greece.
