Ok so I wasn't his craziest fan. I didn't jump on stage, but I sure made a spectacle. I was young, and this man had been a hero my entire life. Johnny was very gracious about my extreme enthusiasm and in one performance even came and sang "Life Is A Song Worth Singing" directly to me. Unforgettable.
@Jonny Mathis I saw JM in concert seven years ago. The first song he sang was "Gina." My Uncle has seen him three times. The first was in Philadelphia in the late '50s. My Uncle told me that he didn't have the stage presence that he got later. As the people were still applauding, he went out to make a final bow. JM didn't realize that the curtains were being drawn and he ended up behind the curtains. Anyways, stay safe.

@@arethawhite3712 Yes, he's an angel. I finally met him last year in Branson, Mo. We stayed at the same hotel and after the concerts when he entered the hotel, his fans were waiting for him. Have you see him in concert?

I have seen Gladys Knight in person though, and my mom got a high five from her as she was coming down the aisle of the auditorium in Chapel Hill, she did a great job conducting and singing with the Mormon choir!!!! I still have my program, and my CD that is so beautiful ❤️👍!!!! That program was so nice!!! But as soon as I called out Gladys Knight's name, my mom got the high five from her!!!! How lucky my mom was that day!!!!! But I live in NC and I'll probably never get to see Johnny Mathis in person 😕😒. That really sucks 😞!!! @@arethawhite3712 I just saw Johnny Mathis in Raleigh, N. C. in February. At the end of the concert while he was walking off stage, I wave at him and he through me a kiss. I was so surprised that he remembered me. You be safe also. I've seen Gladys in concert but never met her. That was nice.

I’ve always ❤️ Johnny Mathis..years ago I was in his fan club ..I had the opportunity to meet him..he came into my pharmacy for an ointment for his irritated skin from dryness due to swimming..I was elated.,he was so kind and sweet..I could not believe my coworker did not have a clue who he was..🤷🏼♀️😳
