He was rough stock and wilder than hell, ran with the devil and then out ran him! Hell of a musician and I imagine a hell of a good man

An outlaw country singer who was actually an outlaw. Old school.

I admire him for being strong enough to stay sober the last 14 years of his life🙏🙏🙏

Pardoning Johnny Paycheck was probably the most constructive thing Dick Celeste did as a governor of Ohio. Governor Celeste never met a tax he didn't like.

Prison sometimes, to somebody that thinks back, is extra clarity. I was an extreme addict cooking meth shooting meth. It wasn't what I was doing to myself, it was what I was doing the other people. I was destroying families. Shooting dope with people that had children. When I finally sobered up it broke my heart. People would tell me they will just get it somewhere else. Not from me, never again.😞.

It changed him. Takes a wild rider and tames him

Deep inside, this man is good. He spent many years battling himself and his demons, it took a jail sentence to make him realize what he needed to do. And after that he has just been an incredible man up until his death.

Paycheck was one of the greatest raw talents ever. He was a man with so many natural blessings who seemingly did everything he could to squander them. As if he couldn't help himself and that in his heart he felt like he didn't deserve anything good in life. How is that possible with all those hits that he died broke? George Jones had to pay for his burial.
