And fair play to you mate. Personally I think Sexton and Farrell (Owen) are mirror images of one another, both would willingly give their lives on the pitch. Absolute warriors.
After Ireland been 1 of very few or even the only nation to bow to the Japanese at the opening and closing ceremonies in the Olympics the Japanese have said they found that an absolutely unbelievable gesture to there culture and nation now they gave an unbelievable gesture back to show that respect to Johnny sexton and Ireland was unbelievable 👏👍 this is brilliant to see, hats off to Japan the mutual respect in great to see
Speaking as an All Blacks fan, Ireland Rugby has always been class, but this is next level. A beautiful gesture from JRFU and once again Johnny Sexton shows his skills on the field and his humility and character off the field, absolute legend of the game!
@HITLER-ISA-BBC-SLUT england ahahaha, you see what happened last time they played Ireland? I bet he wouldn’t start for the all blacks or South Africa anymore but captaincy isn’t about being the best, and calling him Irish royalty is about his careers not what he does now
@@gabrielslater0505 I wouldn't laugh at England mate, they are the best home nations team. I also agree about Sexton, he's a class act, but home nations only win against England when they are injury riddled or underperforming. When we play at our best we can destroy any team in the world, IE All Blacks in RWC. When the home nations have better records and win world cups more than England, you can laugh. As the home nations only concentrate on beating England, as they know if they can manage thay once every few years, it's a big thing, but England concentrate on winning everything. As they know they are better. So I wouldn't laugh too much, or when you loose next, you'll just look silly!
@@jbee9713 You do know since the start of the six nations in 2000 Ireland have been on top of their head to head with England since 2006 or 2007 I think it's currently 12 wins for Ireland with wins in 2001 2004 2005 2006 2007 2009 2010 2011 2015 2017 2018 2021 to England's 10 which is whatever years I've left out. Those stats make a bit of a mockery of your point surely
🥰 I love Johnny! I’m happy he plays for 💙 Leinster 💙 too. I wore my Sexton on fire t-shirt during the match and on fire he was! My framed autograph of him is even more dear to me as it already was! Seeing him emotional … I felt that! OMG He’s amazing!
@@ajorngjdonaydbr 🤣lol ...but I reckon the true heroes in Ireland in my opinion will have to be frank mc court from that true story movie Angeles Ashes 1 of my favourites
Absolute warrior would die for country, Play with concussion, To win matches he may never remember, The most deserving Western play worthy of the being awarded a samurai sword. Also, love that Japan are part of the rugby universe, they are truly incred
Much respect for Sexton....the best is yet to come if he stays injury free ....RWC 2023 we will see Johnny take this team to places no Irish team has been before. Guaranteed
What a guy! What a player and the respect shown by the Japanese team is why I love rugby. You'd NEVER see that in football! It makes me sad that we can't treat Owen Farrell the same, as he's coming up for his 100th cap and our fans treat him like shit! He's achieved just as much, if not more than Johnny Sexton, so why the hate England? We should treat all great players like this. I'll definitely be cheering him louder this Saturday when he gets that 100th cap!
Very nice from Lappies but I feel it should have been one of the ethnic Japanese players who should have done the samurai sword presentation. Anyway well done and congratulations Johnny Sexton
Why are Ireland playing in black?? The other team were in white and red??? That Katana will be a nice piece of memorabilia for him over the years… well done dude!
its our classic few non world cup years where we could beat both NZ and SA at the same time, and then when the world cup rolls around we dont reach the semis
Its good that Ireland went away from that forward rugby rubbish and decided to play more with the backline as they said in the video," A great new attacking style for Ireland." You see what happens if you use the backline more, you will make alot of more meters and score more tries.
Kitana is a mortal combat character. A katana is a specific type of Japanese sword, of a specific length. If you do the reading you don't sound foolish.
Johnny Sexton is indeed a great player but I think he should retire because of multiple concussions he suffered. Carl Hayman and Steve Thompson who are not even 45 got early dementia. Johnny is 36 and it won't be a surprise if he is diagnosed with dementia or CTE 10 years later...
why pun a negative spin on a wonderful players choice...he could retire tomorrow any rugby team would have him as a coach or in any role .....he makes his own choices
I knew this was coming I know the history this is about taking money out of people's pockets all sports are going the same way don't see clubs getting much out of it
