Yes, I knew how to move and travel around is something that you don't forget, but part of the magic, the mystery, the history, the elegance, the politeness, the respect, I felt it was gone. I will never forget the cold, drizzling, foggy, windy days when I was waiting to cross the street and somebody next to me would say, " lovely weather isn't it". I faced a different reality and I wanted to bring back time. The fun memories will forever live with me. Standing in front of Buckingham Palace, it looked so empty and so, so cold and a big sadness overcame me and I couldn't hold my tears. I know the whole World is changing, oh how I wish I could bring back time. From across the pond a respectful warm hug to all.

England IS the "land of my ancestors" and it saddens me that I will probably never see it. But my children and a grand-daughter have visited England , loving it greatly as I had expected they would, and my son is returning and bringing his daughter "across the pond" this summer!

Jonny first caught my eye in 2018 as commander of 5Scots regiment. (Not even knowing his name for two more years!!) I reversed the video, RU-vid, and rewatched it more than once . He and his reg were welcoming the Queen back to Balmoral. Then in 2019 he was interviewed on TV and we can hear his voice (youtube) and his very knowledgeable answers and his calm and assured camera presence. He was made for this job! There is just something about him, more than good looks???? God bless him and his family, the RF and England.

I have stage 4 and 3 cancer. Praise God I am on my 8th year of remission. I did ask God why about 2 times. But I put my trust in the Lord. Seriously, I only got emotional a few times. Because I am not an emotional person. I did talk a lot about my cancer to seem like practically everyone. I think it put my sister at an emotional ease because I wasn't breaking down with emotions.

That makes sense. The King doesn't just have a son who ignores royal protocol, he also appears to ignore family protocol. One of the things that struck me about the demand that Meghan go with Harry to Balmoral when the Queen was dying was that he seemed not to take into account that, aside from he and William, who are the King's sons, none of the Queen's blood grandchildren were asked to go. Peter, Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie, Louise and James had known and loved their grandmother all of their lives. Why on earth would a granddaughter-in-law who had been around for less than 2yrs expect to take precedence over them? Harry and Meghan's self-absorption seem to make them unable to see any boundaries.

I always think about the walkabout after the Queen’s death and how she and Megs got out of the car and Catherine walked right past her like a boss, head high and not a word or glance her way. Megs cowered and looked like the coward she is.

Ordinarily, she would likely be the one to make the first move in a social interaction, royal protocol be damned. But for that brief moment, it appeared (at least to me) as if Meghan suddenly realized the hurt that she had Harry had caused by their disparaging remarks against the royal family in their Oprah interview, their Netflix documentary and Harry’s ghostwritten “autobiography “Spare.” The Cambridges/Wales continued to refuse to converse with the Sussexes during their very short stay. But what can one say to a brother and sister-in-law who so publicly betrayed you? And certainly, the mourning period following the Queen’s death was not the appropriate time to iron out the serious issues between the two brothers and between Harry and his father. Well, naive me: it was perhaps a day or less after the Sussexes returned to California when they made a statement that made one realize they, as usual, blamed everyone but themselves for the icy reception they received during their second and clearly final trip to the U.K. The couple made a statement to the press through an unnamed “friend” that they were very “hurt” by the cold treatment they had received from the royal family. They apparently believed that they were telling “their truth,” never mind its tenuous connection to reality. In his suit against a British tabloid, Harry continued his “proof” that the royal family was in a conspiracy to destroy Meghan and himself in order to ensure that the British public would better accept the “ambitious” Camilla as queen. No actual supporting evidence or witnesses were offered. The presiding judge derided Harry’s testimony and ruled against him. The Sussexes remain convinced of this “conspiracy,” yet are determined to keep their connection to a family they claim to “love” but no longer trust by insisting they and their children be addressed,at least formally, by their royal titles, even though they and their children live full time in the U.S. Meghan is still an American citizen. Archie and Lili are considered to have dual citizenship because of their parents’ nationalities. I don’t believe Meghan could be legally considered a dual citizen because of her marriage to Harry. I do know before the Sussexes left the U.K. , even before their marriage, she was beginning the process of becoming a British citizen. While Prince Harry’s immigrant status has remained private, I think it would be a fair assumption to think he might have made an application to become a permanent resident of the U.S. It’s not clear what their status as taxpayers is.

IMO The history, ancestry and inherited traits, DNA traits, character and personalities etc of the RF are here to "Shine God's Love and Care" by example, to the world. The World needs this Light now because Evil and it's intentions are working in the opposite manner.

I, too, chuckled at 'King Cozy Socks.' I've always liked the fact that Charles seems to enjoy wearing a kilt. From the photos I've seen, he doesn't only wear it on ceremonial occasions -- like some men do, but when he's relaxing and enjoying nature too. I don't remember ever seeing William in a kilt and I've read that he doesn't have the same love for it as hia father.
