Thanks John for your tip on working with the engine on 1966 Batmobile i used a pillow to protect the engine while I worked on the bottom of the engine.
Brilliant update John looking forward to seeing you building issue 122 of titanic getting all the wires hooked up. As you know I'm terrible at wiring so I shall take note on how you do this. I've actually done issue 122 and it's very frustrating to try and get everything lined up but the bridge deck and promenade deck fit like a dream it's just the boat deck that I am having trouble with. Plus I can only get the bridge deck to light up no lights on the promenade or boat deck so I've I've put it away at the moment waiting for you or Dave to show me how it's done. Take care 🙂
I'm going to get the Agora Apache helicopter build, but I'm buying it as the complete kit once it's finished. I've got the Super Snake, A C Cobra, Routemaster, E Type and Lambos as full kits to build. I'm going to be getting the Bismarck soon. I have just bought the 1:400 Airfix Titanic. I'm taking them all to Brazil for when I retire in 2029 and then build them kit at a time.
@JohnsModelmaking I'm also looking at the Trumpeter 1:200 USX Missouri, Arizona and Enterprise builds. I'm currently doing the Falcon including mods on it, Robocap, the 66 Batmobile, Robocop and the 1:6 Mustang. Gonna have a busy retirement with that, fishing and teaching English.....I'll be busier there than here!!!
I started from the bridge end and when I was near the rear of it the little pegs don't match up and the last 4 screw holes are out of line too. Took the little metal strips out so I could bend the decks from the bottom to get screws in. With shortening the poles at rear it sits perfect
John go back and watch your video. First you hear your voice then you talk with you lips. Weird. But sounds like a great week. Also we here in the U.S will celebrate the 4th of July. Take care John
