Your videos are beautiful! I didn’t know somebody else liked wild swimming or Wim Hoff so much? So exciting to see! When I see a river, Ocean or lake especially rapids or falls, I want to jump in ! There is some high energy I feel with currents....the water so pure. Washes away all physical and mental pains. Especially when I dip my head...Like being born again! Thanks for sharing! Now that it is spring, I try to go everyday. I think I like it the most when the snow falls...Each time it feels like a rebirth! I can meditate for hours after the swim. My spirit fully awake😇 🙏🇨🇦❤️🌈🌎🏄‍♀️

If this is the set of falls running up towards Hardknott, I remember doing the entire climb via the waterfalls themselves in my early teens, wearing nothing but sandals, a tee shirt and a swimsuit. It was much sunnier at the time and the frost run off was finished so the flow wasn't so strong. We strolled from the bottom to the top of Eskdale, often equipped in nothing but summer clothes, and none of us came to harm.

In Poland in summer I can swim and have fun for an hour with my kids without getting out of lake. Ur swimming s is shortest swimming I ever had, but for me it would be just toe dipping

I bet this is how the strong cave women took a bath! Maybe stop shaving? Lol .. I’m a daily cold plunge guy too. It takes more willpower to plunge in cold weather vs warm. Even if the water is the same temperature. It’s because it’s harder to get warm afterwards. Sending in my application for cameraman, if the job becomes available. I will have to plunge too though. And how amazing is it to put our heads in the water!! After I get out, I feel so good, so powerful and full of hope.
@chasingwaterfalls79
@chasingwaterfalls79 2 года назад
Hi Dave thanks for your reply. Your application is at the top of the pile for as and when I need a new cameraman :) I agree with the awesome feelings and awareness you have during and when you get out, gotta love nature 🙏🏽
@daveandersen2484
@daveandersen2484 2 года назад
@@chasingwaterfalls79 the cold plunge is great. But it’s not the same if you don’t put your face and head in for a few minutes! My body can take the cold water. But my face doesn’t like it. I have to have 64 degree water before I can freestyle swim, vs the breast stroke, to keep my face out , more than a few minutes. My head is ok , but my face hurts in too cold of water. How do you feel about your face in cold water? And what is your temperature, that your brain and face freeze go away in a few minutes, and you can swim head and face in for 10-20 minutes? I’m going with 64 degrees. I tried 60 degrees last week in a pool and it was not comfortable. Thanks I have not missed a day in my plunge in 5 months, it’s 42. But my swimming pool is 47 and my daughters is 60. And that’s where I tried the freestyle swim.

@@daveandersen2484 never had brain freeze although a strong sensation rarely to this, I like to mix things up with putting my head underwater:)

@@chasingwaterfalls79 you don’t have a temperature where it is too uncomfortable, to hold your face in the water too long? My head adjusts but not my face? Maybe I’m a wimp and need to push past the pain? I go underwater fully at 35 ,40,50 degrees, Fahrenheit but my face is telling me to stop after a minute.

So what is it that is so different, so unique about what you do, are doing. And then I believe if I move beyond what am used to and seek to explore something different, how do I do that. First I imagine I would have to rely on different words or terms, at least different meanings as in what is so obvious that am not aware of it. Am most aware of an attraction, because I get the feeling of being pulled into the video, but it is not obvious nor is it hidden, such as an oblique. It's definitely sensual that's ignited by sight, always at a glance, but is defined when you dive beneath the surface or at least when the camera does. Like something one supposes without ever having been suspicious. And it's wonderfully naive, without being awkward. And its not deep cuz that's just a bad pun. The only thing it can be then, the only thing have left out, but seems to too obvious is the geography; the location and terrain (!?!)
