Well, here is the must see California Garden tour to accompany the charming home. We looked at yesterday. Each garden room was more amazing than the next. I had serious, serious garden envy when we were done. I mean, really, who has nasturtium that come up like weeds! #cottagegarden #cottagestyle #gardendesign #gardening #gardendecor #gardentour #californiagardening #californiagarden #eucalyptustree #rosemary #topiary #dreamgarden #gardenrooms #gardentour

Absolutely gorgeous! This garden is so lush, charming, established, eclectic, enclosed, and full of the most incredible variety of plants, trees, shrubs and flowers! I love the private rooms she has created. Everything showcases her personality and her love of home and garden. A visual treat! Just incredible that someone could create such beauty over time. I too live in the bay area of California and have been in my home 52 years. My problems is I have such a small little yard , but everything grows by leaps and bounds while I sleep. I can hardly keep up with the trimming back of 8 foot geraniums, shrubs and climbing vines. Rosemary is a weed in my garden . I too, love green on green on green. I love all the shades and textures layered together. What an absolute delight to tour this amazing garden, and what a lovely lady.

Such a beautiful garden! I used to live in California, but didn't garden ( I was 7 yrs old & that meant " Barbies not begonias 😂) But honestly, I am ashamed. I also had garden envy.#1 long growing season #2 no deer 🦌 in sight (the deer are the bane of my existence, they come almost in my carport & eat my hostas, astilbe & and anything else they can stuff in their mouths!! They also make my Yorkie furious . BUT I have bought an air horn 😡🎺😂 I will update y'all after I try it out!! From Georgia with love ❤

Cherokee Rose was named after the Trail of Tears. The Natives were forced to walk out west. I had one in the wrong spot. A 4-H high school student dug it up and said he was going to root many and sell the roses. The prickles are big on Cherokee Roses and painful.

What an absolutely wonderful garden! The house and garden combine so seamlessly. As you walked through the various areas of the garden, the garden took on a very expansive feel, even though the garden rooms felt close and cozy. The story of Loni's garden could be a book. I have come to love stories of how gardens came to be. I can appreciate the loss of Loni's eucalyptus trees in a storm. For a gardener, such a loss is very wrenching. I had my backyard mangled by tornadoes embedded in a hurricane. The loss of trees and old shrubs nearly broke my heart. You can't just replace 50 or 100 year old trees. Loni did an amazing job of creating beauty out of the chaos. What a lovely, nurturing person she is. A wonderful garden like hers is a spiritual experience. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful garden with us.

again, did not disappoint. In parts it reminded me so much of the backyard of the bungalow with the appletini coloured door. Gardening on this side of the pond is so different, a lot more herbaceous colour, but I just love the way you do this green on green. It's such a tranquil colour and of course when done with such texture it exudes restfulness and calmness. It invites you to sit and ponder and enjoy, and this garden has so many charming seating areas to do that. Just heaven.

Hi from Annie great garden very natural love lots trees I have lots trees too it always makes a big different for the better too. Think you should plant more trees back m front, you could turn the backyard into a sort of tropical paradise sort of area lots tall big trees, palm trees, banana plants etc.... I am going to do another garden video on my U Tube channel and will send you a link when it is done I have a sort of tropical paradise in the back yard always lots of trimming to be done as all grows fast. This garden is a real inspiration and 2 and half acres is huge too. Looks like a forest woodland area very natural.
