As I've said, the website specifically states what you get and what your rights are on this page: www.lordtitles.co.uk/pages/frequently-asked-questions, and yes, they actually mention that you do NOT own the land, and the title is just a novelty product. Nothing more. I'm aware of that, so should everyone be, if they actually just read the website. So no, this isn't a scam; You just have to read before you buy. They actually DO sell what they're saying they sell; A novelty product.

2:55 I've thrown splint grenades (the ones used mainly for offensive purposes, that explode into a hail of tiny lead balls that rip and shred meat and bones) during an exercise, and I swear to God it was fucking terrifying. My instructor looked at me afterwards and said "That's the saddest throw I've ever seen", and I just retorted "Well, I lived!" Fun fact: our "dry-training"/dummy-training consister of throwing rocks of roughly equal weight. We literally just found rocks and tossed them at a target. It was more about learning the proper procedure and throwing-style, but it still cracks me up how the army just made us find rocks lying about.

3:00 Grenade training usually entails throw a "practice" grenade until your officer/NCO/trainer is comfortable with your skill; then you get to throw the real thing. Practice grenades can range from proper training grenades that go *BANG* to being a small yakult bottle filled with sand(and the foil carefully wrapped back over the top; the intent being that when it hits the ground at your target, the bottle breaks open to simulate an exploding grenade.)

@@Hustlate I went through basic about 6 years ago (united states) and from what i recall, we only threw about 5 practice grenades. Maybe a few more. The live grenade toss was idiot proof though. Hide behind a wall. Toss over wall. Duck. If you drop it. The cadre will either pick it up and throw it. Throw you in a hole and jump on top of you. Or both.

@@McQuiznos it is designed pretty much same way here in Finland. Pretty fool proof. We were also watched over the whole time if the instructor got bad vibes from you or you seem otherwise mentally unfit or too nervous to handle live grenade he would not let you to continue.

Not gonna lie. When i threw my first grenades, it was a little nerve racking. Me being 19 just out of highschool, was now holding a 5 bound baseball sized explosive that could kill anyone in a 15 meter radius and injure anyone withing 30-50 meters with shrapnel. May have botched those numbers, but the point stands. Its a bit nerve racking when you start having an existential crisis. But it all goes away after you realize how awesome it is that 2 months before you were taking a test and now youre throwing hand grenades. 9/10 would do again.

C J when I went my buddy went to throw his and the spoon popped off on his chest rig and he only barely got it out of his hands before it blew up. Scary as shit in the moment totally hilarious in retrospect.

I remeber how nervracking it was when we trained with grenades in army got to throw one real one. My heart was bounding like a mad man. And heard story that some trainer officer died because someone failed throw the grenade he manage to throw guy out of the bunker and died himself.

The training to throw a grenade was only one day of training in the US Marines. We threw dummy grenades for a few hours then threw a live one from a concrete box with a combat instructor

Throwing grenades even in a controlled environment is scary.... TBH would never use one in combat if needed, then again I was a tank commander so we only got the basic training with grenades and only ever threw one live

Hat Bois, if you see this comment, you should go check out 'Lord' Smith's land sometime. It would be a fun and easy/safe to film Hat Films vid. I know it's been almost 2 years since this came out, but rewatching these Worms & Trials vids are nice to have in the background while I work from home. Thanks for all the years of entertainment! As someone who has thrown grenades it is not as stressful as youd think because you take a couple days leading up to it and a bunch of confidance building. When it came down to throwing the real thing my training just kicked in and I did everything I was suppose to. The whole ordeal felt really quick even though it took like a couple hours. The most stressful part was the 3 hrs standing in line watching other people throw grenades through really thick windows waiting to be handed my real grenade to throw.

we did grenade training while i was in the marine corp and a guy dropped it in his foxhole and the trainer had to grab the guy and pull him out but the shrapnel went through the drainage holes and shredded their calve muscle. i was next after that

The "checkout hood" would only have "worked" if you'd been alone. Obviously if you'd felt faint or even passed out I'm pretty sure your esteemed colleagues would've taken the hood off. Permanent injuries and brain death wouldn't have occurred that quickly.
